I would suggest that factory make all the brackets and battery size the same so they are interchangeable, NOT practical to change the bracket for each battery on long trips. TKS

The battery does allow good range (10 miles with a full charge). But battery life is fairly short. I used it for my short commute to work for about 5 months and my battery is now nearly dead. One thing to be careful is to only charge 3-5 hrs only. Unlike cell phones, this battery doesn’t “stop charging” after it charges to full, so if you forget to unplug, say, overnight, it seem to deteriorate battery life quickly. The instruction book included does mention unplug after 3-4 hrs, but never mentions why. I’d imagine even if I follow charging 4hrs only to a fault, this battery might only last a year or so if commuting daily. REMEMBER TO UNPLUG! ... show more
