I had a code 1922 which is a permanent code and can't just clear unless you have a special scan tool. I was able to to reset dpf and force a regen. Everything worked out fine, I also changed ecm parameters which I didn't expect I could do unless I had an Insite. To say the least, I'm very impressed.

Rather than paying someone else hundreds of dollars it's a lot easier to scan my own truck. It was able to read my 2012 Volvo truck with no problems but ran into issues detecting the ABS module on my friend's 2022 Volvo truck. I messaged product support and they got back to me within hours. They have forwarded my concern to their developers and I will have an answer/fix in a few days. So far so good. If they stay responsive and responsible for their product, the company will see lots of success. Also would be great to have a help document that outlines how to use the different functions. There is so much things you can do, it can be overwhelming for a new user. ... show more

I bought this for a troublesome code on my Kia. Not all the parts were present in the package—it looks like it was a return. However, the missing piece was not a big deal since I had several—the cord to update the software was missing. I also needed to buy an adapter for the Kia. Please be aware of that if your car has a particular OBD connector that is not 16 pin. I emailed the company about a KIA adapter and they were less than helpful telling me to speak with the reseller. Really unacceptable. BUT, the unit worked with the adapter I purchased, was easy to use, and cleared the code after I replaced the part. Despite the irritation of the missing part, and the company response, not to mention having to buy another piece for it to work, I am happy with the product well enough. Waste of money and time consuming to return, wait 30 days and maybe not get a penny back. Not impressed at all for paccar products, or detroit, cummins, etc. Save your money!

I love the scanner it has all of the features I was looking for in an affordable scan tool and then some. I works for smaller vehicles like bmw and Mercedes all the way up to coaches and will do special function for diesels. Great product would definitely recommend!

Tried on 2018 Western Star 4900sb with a Detroit DD16 and Eaton Ultrashift. I updated and registered the scanner before use, as prescribed by the manufacturer, but the tool would not communicate with any of the modules on my truck.
