This case does a great job protecting my scanner. Shell feels sturdy and holds its shape well. Inside has enough space for the unit and cables. Zipper works smoothly without catching. I received this case just before going on a road trip with my newly purchased code reader. My code reader is a different one than advertised for this case, however, they are all pretty similar in form factor and it worked great for it . I didn’t test the case’s waterproof claim, I doubt it would keep water out if it were submerged, however it is certainly water resistant at the very least- not a big concern since I don’t plan to go swimming with it. The interior is roomy and has a couple of mesh pockets, one of which is hinged kind of like a book page, handy for storing the instruction manual or other accessories. The inside dimensions are approximately 5.5x7.75x2.5 inches. Although it is advertised as being for a code reader (which is what caught my eye) it could actually be used for many different applications like multimeters, stud finders, moisture meters, electronic measuring tools, etc. It’s great for protecting fragile items that might otherwise just rattle around in your trunk or toolbox.

This ANCEL storage case will be exactly what I needed for organizing my diagnostic equipment. The waterproof and shockproof features give me peace of mind when I'm working in less-than-ideal conditions in my garage or driveway. The interior compartments keep everything separated and prevent tools from banging against each other. The size fits a few of my diagnostic meters perfectly with room for cables and smaller accessories. I the durable zipper that doesn't catch or snag when I'm in a hurry. The carrying strap makes it convenient to transport between vehicles or storage locations. My only minor gripe is that the interior dividers aren't adjustable, so oddly shaped tools sometimes don't fit as neatly as I'd like. Overall though, this case significantly improves my workflow and keeps my expensive diagnostic tools safe from dust, moisture and accidental drops. I have many Ancel Tools so I'm not surprised at the quality. Now I have to decide what tool gets a permanent spot in this case.

I use this Ancel case for my Gopro hero 9 cameras and it works great for stashing all of my accessories, including batteries and fittings. Zipper works good the quality feels nice. Of course, you can use this case for more than a scanner and the waterproof feature gives peace of mind in the event there's a bit of rain drizzle while working outdoors. Good value for the price.

My Ancel Battery Tester finally has a new Protective Home... Like most of Ancel's products, this is a well made, durable case. I had a purpose in mind when I got this. The bag is hard-sided enough to be sturdy but with a little flexibility. I looks good and has a good handle, which is easy to grip. The nylon shell feels tough and will wear well. I put a portable battery charger in it that will also jump-start a vehicle. The unit and it's cables just fit into this bag. While I don't keep it in my car, for trips it is where I can grab it and drop it into the trunk without having to hunt for all of the parts. I like this bag and others like it and would order it again.

I love these molded cases and pick them up anytime I can find one that fits my needs. I have another smaller one of these that I keep my ancel battery tester in. This one stores my ancel code scanner. It fits the scanner and cables perfectly and helps to protect the screen. I keep this under the backseat of my truck in case I need to check/scan codes while I'm out of town.
