Looks well made and sturdy, nice clean design. I have used it to clear some errors and verify what is happening to my two cars. Always nice to know before you go to the shop. This is a recommended tool and I would buy this one again.

I'm still learning how to read everything associated with this obd2 scanner but it saw my code which I repaired. p0135 b1s1. took this on road trip with it plugged in and watched it monitor all the things it can. all my readiness factors are now up to date and have a green check. this thing is amazing for the price. Can be used on most cars 1997 and later. I've used it to determine issues with my 2007 Solstice and yesterday with my daughter's 2015 Jeep Cherokee (see Photo). In this case, the purge valve was leaking. In my case it just needed adjustment and the 'check engine' light went out. The replacement unit was $48 at the local car parts store. If you don't know a lot about cars, check for a YouTube video. Will save hundreds in repairs at the dealer. The Ancel is easy to use - just plug in and follow the on-screen instructions. Super easy to use, intuitive, and seems pretty well made. My only complaint was that the USB cable didn't power up the unit, and I was worried that it was dead. Once I plugged it into the car it worked perfectly, helped me figure out what was going on, and cleared the codes. It paid for itself the very first time I used it. ... show more

My device is not reading the code with the check engine light ON. Update instructions included with the product were not adequate but update was still pretty easy. Find their website and download the only file offered, instructions are included in the readme file. As for not reading the code: Update did not help. I was unable to get a response from customer service through their website but they responded very quickly to this review. I have sent them further information to both places and await their response. Update: I've waited 48 hrs and no response to the messages I've posted to their website and no further response to information they requested and I provided to their response to this review. I'm now suspecting that the fast response I received to this review was from a bot. I actually need a scanner so at this time I'm returning this one and will pay a bit more for another. Do to the overall good reviews of this product I believe that I received a defective device. I'm leaving my review at one star to reflect that now and then a few of them do not work. ... show more
