This large hard case organizer is a great travel companion piece or practical storage solution to keep devices safe and in one place. The case is a generous size compared to similar products. At 12.5-inches long, 8.5-inches wide, and 4.75-inches deep, it allows for a variety of versatile uses. I will personally use this case to store the myriad of live-streaming equipment such as adapters, webcams, and cords that otherwise are split into multiple cases. There is a large pocket built into the case, but admitted being so shallow, it won’t hold much without the contents falling out. I will think thicker cables will stay put. The center divider has a pocket as well, where most things will stay inside this one. The main compartment is very large and roomy allowing for a number of devices and uses. While this is a “hard case” it does have quite a bit of give to it, meaning it would not stand up to “crush” damage. Finally, there is a distinct “straight from the factory” smell that hangs around. I’ve let it air out for a few weeks and it won’t go away. Overall I do like this case. It is really convenient for keeping my streaming equipment all together in one case (capture cards, cables, flash drives, etc.) For me, it’s the size that I appreciate most.

I have an Ancel scanner that I wanted to store more securely and this case worked perfectly. I got a pick and pluck foam insert and customized to to the case and scanner and now I could drop my scanner off of the roof and it would be fine. Be aware that this listing is for the case only. It does not come with any inserts or foam, so you may need to get those separately.

This review is for ANCEL Large Hard Protective Case Storage Box for ANCEL HD8000 Heavy Duty Truck Scanner This is a perfect fit for my Fluke multimeter and all of its accessories including the AC/DC current clamp. Lots of room and very protective. Nice firm case so the multimeter doesn't get damaged in my truck tool box. It has a zipper so it doesn't seem to be "waterproof" but not sure anyone would expect that. Certainly it would resist any water splash, rain, etc. completely.

I ordered this protective case for general-purpose use with non-ANCEL portable testing equipment, which I need to take to remote locations. Several features attracted me to this product. First and foremost, this case is made of Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate (EVA). For those unfamiliar with EVA, it is a versatile thermoplastic material known for its flexibility, durability, and shock absorption properties. It is commonly used in footwear, packaging, sports equipment, and various other applications. Second, the dimensions of this case are ideal for my equipment and accessories, allowing me to keep everything organized. Finally, the fit, finish, and functionality of this bag are very good. Overall, my experience with this protective case has been very satisfying. My tools last a long time because I take good care of them by using products like this to protect them during storage and transport. If you are in the market for a protective case, this product could meet your needs and is definitely worth considering.

I got this case to store some old SNES and N64 cartridges and it has been a great storage option. The case is made with extremely high quality materials, all the way from the handles, to the zippers. The case feels very sturdy and like it would protect anything inside of it. It is also quite large. I've been able to put in close to 30 cartridges with space still left in it.

This is a very good quality tool case. Like another, smaller, Ancel case that I have, this case has a flap with a mesh pocket sewn in at the top of its storage compartment. This mesh pocket can be used to store the instruction manual or small accessories, but does take away from the overall storage capacity. (You really cannot see this flap well in the photos on the product page.) I am using this case for storing my 12V Bosch impact driver, charger and extra battery, since this hard case is much better (sturdier and offers more protection) than the original soft-sided tool case that came with the driver. The case storage (inside) dimensions are as follows: Length: 12-1/4" Width: 8" Height: main compartment 3-3/8" + lid 7/8" = 4-1/4" total (note that the inside flap will reduce this dimension somewhat)

I like this case. It's well made, has lots of room inside for large and small devices and accessories. Like a number of the other reviewers I'm not using it for the particular use advertised but to carry a number or cordless devices in my truck at the same time. I managed to fit an inflator and jump box along with all their spare parts in this case and still have room for more stuff. It's great because they are well protected in this padded box, which isn't exactly a hardshell, but harder than a soft case. When I need a cordness tool to inflate a low tire...or need to boost a weak battery, I know exactly where to find them...and know they will be ready to work in this protective, water resistant case.
