It worked to read codes and clear codes. It said I had a low battery, but didn't give me the voltage like my old one used to do. It is worth the money.

Cheap and easy code scanner. Easy to use, small, easy to carry or store. I havent utilized all its functions. I have a high mileage car that has a annoying code come on from time to time. Got this as a replacement for a similar product I lost track of. This thing can pay for itself several times over, helping you fix problems without having to go to your dealer or mechanic and paying for a diagnosis and labor of what turns out to be a simple problem. For example... my "check engine" light came on the other night. I plug this in, and it tells me that the coolant is actually below the threshold of where it should have been. Google the problem, and I was able to find likely causes. Could be thermostats or sensors or the cooling fan being stuck on... or it could mean that your coolant is low. I check the reservoir, sure enough - it's low. I go buy some coolant and a funnel, and spend about $15 to fix my car. How much would your dealership charge for the same thing? This is easy to use and gives good information, and I found it easy to read. ... show more

For the money,this is by far the best scan tool out there. Very easy to use and with a lil research you too can save a lot of money and hastle. Not just a code reader. No more looking up codes! The live data is on point and can help locate those pesky o2 sensor problems.
