Cutting to the chase: Recommended! Easy to use and makes great espressos, lattes and cappuccinos. The TDLR (Too long, didn’t read) version This espresso machine is a great choice for quality espresso, lattes, and cappuccinos. The machine seems to be made well, and works fine. The milk frother is a little cumbersome to clean out, but does work very well. Over all I feel this is a good value for money and a great machine. IMHO I feel this is a solid 5 star product, as it outperformed all of my expectations. PLEASE NOTE: Reviews reflect my “customer experience” using the product, based on the actual performance delivered vs. what the product’s description and/or its pictures or diagrams may seem to suggest. 1 Star: Abysmal customer experience and/or failed to meet significant parts of its description. 2 Stars: Poor experience, primarily as described, but is IMHO ‘second-rate’ and/or very poor value. 3 Stars: Average experience, reasonably meets the expectation promised in its description. 4 Stars: Good experience, meets all described expectations, and a reasonable value for money. 5 Stars: EXCELLENT experience! I was impressed with this Espresso machine from the moment of opening the box. The packing materials are first rate. Its thoughtful design mimicked Apple products’ packaging in a standard styrofoam product. All the cords and parts were wrapped in individual plastic bags and fit into cutouts designed in the foam to hold them securely. The quality packaging was evident even in the type of non-marking cellophane tape used to secure parts together for shipping. They even included little foldover tabs on the end of the tape to make it easy to grab and remove. Bravo. Bellissimo! The instruction booklet is well designed on quality paper stock. Clear explanations with pictures of all parts and their operation. A separate Quick Start Guide walks you through each step with pictures from preheat (01) to cleanup (16). Everything reeks of care and thoughtful design. I’m impressed. I followed the first use instructions and then made my first cappucino. Nice froth. Answer: Now, I need to learn the proper grind for espresso (which is different than other coffee prep types) and find a 51mm tamper to round out my tools for great espresso/cappucino/latte making. Four thumbs up.

Ordered this because the shots we've been pulling from our Breville machine have been lackluster lately and I wanted to confirm if it was the coffee itself or the machine. This machine is simple to use (once you review the manual) and I actually really like the milk setup. Being able to fill the milk basin and store it in the fridge is a welcome change to having to pour only what I'm using for one drink. The texture of the milk is actually very foamy as well, which I prefer. However, even with freshly ground beans and trying multiple times to give it a fair shake, it ultimately didn't pull shots as well as our more expensive machine and hence it won't see regular use. If you are on a budget this remains a good way to get your espresso fix but if you want barista quality you'll need to spend more.

We like this machine a lot. It's quick, easy to use, and easy to clean. We have used an old $100 espresso machine for a while and while it works, it's not the best user experience - this has been a big upgrade. The milk container is nice and froths milk well, but if the level is low it sputters a lot and makes a bit of a mess. Keeping the milk level high solves this issue though.

I have wanted an espresso machine for so many years, but they're usually huge and out of my budget. This one is just what I was looking for: compact, stylish, and budget-friendly. As a first-time user, I found it pretty easy to set up and use. The milk frother is awesome, especially when using whole milk because it creates a nice, delicious froth. I love that it is petite in size (compared to many other espresso machines out there), and it's not much bigger than my Keurig. If you're someone who buys coffee daily, you know that that money adds up. This machine is a game-changer. With this, you can now make them all at home- even multiple a day if you want and you can get as creative with it as you'd like. Worth every penny!
