The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a quality Top Fin aquarium filter and so I decided to get and use this one. I must say I am impressed with the performance of this filtration system. The filter element is around 3.7 inches in length and 2.0 in width inches and so it is a great design and size to easily filter my aquarium. It is made of high quality cotton and carbon filter cartridges and so it filters the harmful bacteria and debris that can be harmful to my fish. It also is 3x more filtering performance than what I have seen with previous filter systems I have used. I usually need to replace after 2 to 4 weeks which makes me feel like I get good use out or it before I need to change it to keep the water clean and filtered. It is easy to install and so I just need to take out the old filter cartridge and replace the new filter cartridge without any problems to my fish and I just had to rinse the cartridge before I put it in. Overall, I am impressed with this system and my fish are saying healthy longer I have noticed by using it. ... show more

I bought this to go into a tiny filter, that filter came with just sponges that you rinse out, but I find using a filter makes the water a lot cleaner. These fit if you wedge them in sideways, water flow is good, fish are happy, I'm happy. Win-win.
