Some of the best instructions I've seen. The instruction book is very clear. Good illustrations. Minimal text because it's not really needed. Hardware kit was generous. Lots of screws that weren't needed for my installation, but could be for others. If you already have a ceiling light fixture or are replacing an older ceiling fan (my case), it is a breeze since the necessary fixture and wiring are already in place. If you heed their advice to turn off the circuit breaker that feeds the existing fixture, the job is easy and safe with clear guidance in the manual. My only advice would be to ID tag all the wires to the old fixture before you disconnect them, and refer to the instructions for how they will be connected to the new fan. Have a clear plan. Make a sketch. Know exactly what you're going to do before you disconnect anything. You might even staple that sketch into the owner's manual if you ever need it down the road a few years. I think anyone with opposable thumbs who will RTFM can do the job. Just a little on the unit itself. The expected level of quality for a $65 fan. Cosmetically, very nice appearance. VERY quiet with surprising air flow at the higher speed. NO vibration even at the highest speed. The light is dimmable and plenty bright for the 12x12 room it is in. Couldn't be happier. Sep 19/2025: Some notes about use after a hot So Cal summer which is still with us. The reverse feature came in very handy. With downward (normal) air flow, hot air from the ceiling is pulled down into the room. And since the bedroom windows are in the upper part of the wall, it tends to pull hot air from outside into the room. So during the day, when I'm not in the bedroom, I reverse the flow. It draws cooler air from the floor up to the ceiling and down across the windows sealing off the flow of hot air from the outside. Not exactly sure of the mechanism, but I used lengths of yarn to check airflow and it definitely stops the flow of hot outside air. The room stays cool(er) all day this way. At night, I switch to normal downward flow which sucks the cooler outside night air into the room. Excellent fan with lots of interesting features on the remote.

The media could not be loaded. Perfect fan for my porches in Florida. They are small but mighty, extremely easy to install, instructions are extremely easy to follow, very affordable, very quiet, energy level they use is efficient, and have tons of adjustments available with the remote for the lighting and speed. When I say they are easy to install, I mean it, I’ve installed probably 5 or 6 ceiling fans over the last couple years and these were by far the least time consuming, and they even came with a little tool that holds the fan in place while you do the wiring so you can install them quickly without any help. I bought two “used, like new” and each took me about 15/20 minutes to install without any prior ceiling preparation. Two of my favorite features is being able to dim the lights, and set a timer(1 hr, 2hr,4hr). I have been working painting my porch, and could tell a considerable difference in the coolness of the porch yesterday. Also went back out last night and sat for a while and the lights were bright enough my boys were able to see off the porch and play basketball (their goal sits about 25 feet from the porch). I’m so pleased with them I’m buying another for a kids room.

Lots of upside with only 1 downside. It was nice and quiet, remote operated, powerful wind to keep you cool, easy to adjust both speed and lights. But it stopped working after 14 months, lights and fan just wouldn't turn on. Tried to troubleshoot the issue; Changed the batteries in the remote, checked the wiring to make sure the ground or power wires weren't loose. Everything checked out. The customer service team reached out and offered me a full refund or replacment under warranty. I purchased this exact fan again because Amico won me over with excellent customer service.

This is the second Amico fan we have bought. Both look great and were installed easily. We love the mutilple light levels and fan speeds. Also, it is super quiet - a real plus. The fan works great! It's highest speed is very fast and I like how there are three different color tones for the LED(s) in the lamp. My model broke after 10 months and just stopped responding to the remote and customer support had a new receiver/remote combo out to me within a week! The only negative thing about this fan in my opinion is the fact that if you turn the light on and off in quick succession, it will change tones every time it turns on. Otherwise super easy to assemble and install!

I bought this on a lark. I had those big old wonderful hunter fans but after so many years they start to sound a little rickety. These fans are really quiet and I love the adjustable settings. The light is also super bright but can be dimmed down a fair amount. It really hugs the ceiling and it doesn't have such a big fan with. But this baby cranks out the breeze. With the remote control mounted by the light switches, I don't have to purchase an additional light for the room and I find the buttons pretty easy to use even in the dark. I purchased a second one after the success with the first one. There were some tricks to getting it installed as I think someone mentioned, so shout out to them for the helpful hints.
