When I first unboxed this fan, I had doubts about its ability to move enough air because it was smaller than the one it was replacing. Not an issue. This fan does not wobble, and because the motor is a DC drive motor, it does not hum when operating. It just quietly moves air, lotsa air on the high speed, and proportionally less on the lower speeds. I find that even the lowest speed moves enough air to satisfy my needs while sleeping. I have had other fans that wobbled uncontrollably. This Amico fan is stable and wobble free. No worries that I'll wake up wearing fan blades because the fan wobbled its way off the ceiling. That's not gonna happen with this Amico fan. I have the main power to this fan controlled by a wall switch. When I turn it on, the light comes on without needing to do anything with the remote. I really appreciate this feature and didn't find it mentioned in previous reviews. This is an unbiased retail customer review. I received no compensation for this review.

This is a great fan. Installation was simple and straightforward. Since it is a 42” fan, it is perfect for smaller rooms. I got this fan for the laundry room, which can get rather warm when doing laundry. I also have a steam press in the laundry room for pressing my shirts and pants. Even with the a/c running it still gets hot. This fan does a great job of keeping the air moving and making it feel a lot more comfortable in there. I got the silver/chrome ceiling fan and it looks great in there. This 5 blade flush mount ceiling fan came with a remote that has a lot of functions. It’s a 6 speed, forward and reverse fan with a DC motor. The fan light is dimmable from 10-100% and has 3 temperature colors. The fan also has a timer that can shut the fan off up to 6 hours later. When it’s quiet in the laundry room you can really appreciate just how quiet the fan it. It’s a really great fan with lots of features and comes with a 2 year warranty. Priced at around $70 I don’t think you will find a better deal anywhere. I am really pleased with this fan.

My mom had a bright light fixture over her bed that had no closure on the bottom so the light bulb used to actually burn her eyes when she looked up. When my little brother and my husband were going to put up a new fixture for her, I got this instead. She absolutely LOVES it!!! The fan is whisper quiet so she can keep it on, on low speed all the time which she feels helps her breathing. It has a remote that allows her to control not just the speed of the fan but also its brightness. When she has it on dim, it casts an ethereal sienna glow in her burn orange room, ver beautiful! The fan is a nice size and it has another set of blades so you can change it out, like having wo fans. I absolutely give this five stars!

I recently installed this ceiling fan in my living room, and I couldn’t be happier. The design is nice, blending with my home decor. It took me about an hour to install, and I found the instructions straightforward. What I love most is how quiet it operates. Unlike some fans I’ve had in the past, this one runs so smoothly that I often forget it’s even on. The different speed settings are a huge plus, allowing me to adjust the airflow depending on the season. Even on the highest setting, it doesn’t rattle or make any annoying noises. The lighting is another feature. The built-in LED light provides ample brightness, making it ideal for both relaxing evenings and busy afternoons. Plus, the remote control makes it easy to adjust the fan and light without getting up from the couch. The only downside is if I ever needed replacement parts, my guess is the whole thing would have to be replaced.

The media could not be loaded. We just moved into a new house, and my husband's office had a very nice fan in it but it was really loud when it was running. So we were looking for something that would be quieter. And it was also nice that this had many options for lighting. Installing this was so much easier than removing the old fan. The bracket fits solidly against the ceiling, and it just takes some patience putting the blades on and the rest of the assembly. The blades screw directly into the spinning bracket. And then the light segment is mounted next, and then finally the light diffuser screws on. It took us 30 minutes to remove our old ceiling fan, and about 15 to install this one. It has extra screws and a very thorough instruction booklet. Honestly I was surprised at the quality of the instruction booklet, it has detailed instructions and color photos, it's like a magazine. It is quiet! The only sound is of the wind blowing, because it really moves the air. The light has many options as far as bright white light or warm light, as well as brightness. The remote is easy to use and it comes with a bracket to attach it to the wall. This was a billion times better than the last fan I ordered which had incorrect instructions and I just had to wing it on my own. I can highly recommend this. Especially if you are installing it somewhere where you're going to be working.
