I ordered this in the Queen size. It arrived a day early in one box. I was not expecting that. The box was heavy! I opened it and spread all the parts out in my foyer based on their part numbers. From there it took about 2 hours to put it together. The directions are basic and typical of other purchases. The images could be a lot clearer IMO- I did have to look backward and forward in the directions pages to make sure I was getting everything together the right way. Be aware that there are some bolts that are put in at the end after the headboard and footboard are in place. There are side pieces at the top of the bed that bolt to the headboard and these were tricky. I put this together (small woman) with the help of my husband only when we connected the headboard, footboard, and rails. PROS- It looks fabulous. I did not find any flaws in the fabric or other materials. The bed is amazingly sturdy. It does not move when bumped or laid upon. I bought a 14-inch mattress and it provides a good height. The footboard is slightly lower than the mattress - but only because of the mattress depth I purchased. CONS- A lot of the bolts are already in place and you have to unscrew them and then connect parts. I don't think the directions made that clear. Almost every bolt uses an Allen wrench. I hate Allen wrenches. It was awkward to turn the bolts in some tight places. This was all I could find that I did not like. OVERALL: This was a good purchase.     • The Headboard wasn’t what is advertised
I bought this bed because of the headboard shown in the picture. When I received it I thought it was a mistake until I watched a video. The bed is beautiful and doesn’t feel cheap at all. Also, this bed was very easy to assemble and the slacks are different and they really work. The height of the headboard is my only complaint. It’s still worth the money. ... show more

    • Beware- company approved a return for a defective bed but Will not provide a paid return label

Quality is the worst of the five beds we have purchased from Amazon. Also the most difficult refund/return request ever from hundreds and hundreds of things we have purchased. The bed is defective. Two rail pieces are supposed to be screwed together with a plate containing a floor support. The pieces have a huge gap in them. The company, Happy Tao, has asked for multiple photos, which I have supplied. I requested a return, which they accepted and Amazon sent me a return label. I took the bed to UPS to mail it back to them and it was going to be over $300. I contacted the company and asked for a prepaid return label. They informed they can’t resell the bed. This process has taken 6 days to get to this point. They refuse to send a prepaid return label and won’t refund my money. I don’t want the bed. The quality is poor. Several holes didn’t line up. There was upholstery covering holes that has to cut away. There are lines imprinted in the velvet upholstery that won’t come out. There is even a small slit/tear on the footboard. This company has offered to send another bed. I have learned by lesson on buying from a foreign company on Amazon. I have escalated this to Amazon. My last bed frame was metal and on a wood floor… so it slid… everywhere. This frame is STURDY. The head and footboard are SO soft and classy and padded enough to not take up a ton of space but still cushion you when you lean on it. They sent tools with the frame to put it together which was wonderful, I hate searching for the right tools when I’m just excited and ready to put things together. I did order the king, so it was LORGE. My husband and I put it together in maybe 30-40 minutes? The instructions were easy to follow and the frame is so nice. Be aware, she is HEAVY.
