Hi. I purchased these stools because the price was the best for 4 comfortable stools. I ordered four n received one box of two, n the other two days apart. Strange. I proceeded to assemble the first one n it isn’t that easy. The dowels used to join the legs, which are wooden, is quite small, and needless to say, broke off quite easily. That was disappointing. I was ready to return them, but I found that even though the dowel broke, which was supposed to go into the corresponding leg, They need to be secured with a special X tool that you are sent, and so that secured the legs even though the dowel broke. Good!!! Once you accomplish, putting the legs together, which is the hardest part, the rest is not as difficult. The challenging part is the instruction page which is simplistic to say the least. It isn’t very thorough or detailed. Consequently you have to figure some things out by yourself. Which I did. I’m happy to say that I successfully assembled the first stool, even though I had to think the whole process through because as I said, the instructions are not that comprehensive. Once it’s all assembled, the stool is comfortable and it does swivel and I hope that it will hold the 600 pounds It says that it will. And that they last me a long time because they are quite cute.
