This item is listed at Amazon as tank only. It actually comes complete with a lid and all tank hardware. Other websites only send a stripped down tank for around the same price. If you want the hardware, those sites charge an additional fee! Having read some other reviews questioning the quality of the item I was a bit hesitant to buy it. However, I decided to go with it as I was unable to locate another replacement at a decent price after shipping charges were added. I'm glad I purchased it. Kind of disappointed in American Standard where a 3 month old tank shattered when someone leaned back into the tank. I've had American Standard toilets for 30 years and never seen one break before. I guess the warranty doesn't protect you for breakage. Lucky, I was able to get one quickly through Amazon for a decent price. I did see a few reviews mentioning that the tanks were thin walled and broke quite easily. Should have read all the reviews before purchasing it. ... show more

I didn’t want to mess around with a plumber or replacing gaskets, etc. one at a time to find the slow leak I had! My tank was about 5 years old, so ordered this entire tank which contained all new parts. Think it was less than $100 and well worth it! Took me less than 20 minutes to take out the old and put in the new! ... show more
