I bought this in “biscuit” which is a nice light beige color. Initially, I bought two of these. One of the seats sent was totally damaged, with a large chunk broken off from the seat. The other one had a “hinge cover” that was broken off from two thin hinge supports, although it did snap in place and seems to be fine. So, I sent the broken one back and later replaced it with an identical order. That replacement toilet seat arrived and seems just fine. The seats are very east to install, adjust and secure. They are substantial and the soft close feature is a plus. Started to give this 4 Stars, but then thought: in dealing with toilet seats, sometimes, sh_t happens, and you simply move on. So. I'm reviewing a toilet seat now. Listen the KOHLER brand is known for quality products, and this is no exception. I actually bought two of these, one for upstairs and one for down. The one downstairs is combined with a bidet that I also purchased from Amazon, and the assembly went together with neither fuss nor drama. The seat, lid and hinge assembly are remarkably heavy materials, and I expect them to last for years. Plus, there's something about bright white that says, "sanitary". ... show more

Okay, so you're thinking a toilet seat, is just a toilet seat? Well, after being bothered about certain things with our current toilet seat, I suddenly have some boxes I want checked off when buying this one. In my opinion this toilet seat hit all my boxes and I would highly recommend it! 1. Installation - very easy.... says the wife watching her husband installing it quickly, with no swearing. 2. No annoying swivel when you sit down. Toilet seat stays put. Yay! 3. You can actually sit on the toilet seat cover. This is not the thin plastic kind that pops down when you go to sit on the lid and I'm not a skinny minny. 180 pounds and hubby over 200 pounds. It's nice and solid. It looks and cleans nicely like the newer plastic kind, but has the weight and thickness of an old fashioned thick and strong lid. Perfect! 4. Soft close - No annoying sound when you or the kids drop the lid. It is a very, very.... very slow close, like wait for it.... wait a little bit more....., but who cares, it's quiet! If you need to sit on it and wanted to close it quicker by pushing it down faster with your hand, it seems that it would work, but I wouldn't suggest that as it will probably eventually damage the soft close feature. We've only had it a few days so I can't speak of it's longevity, but so far I think it's as awesome as a toilet seat could be! Highly recommend! Happy shopping :) ... show more

I bought three of these toilet seats and couldn’t be happier! The color matches our toilets perfectly, and the curved lip on lid gives them a much nicer appearance than the standard flat style. Installation was quick and easy, and while the screws are plastic, the screw quality is surprisingly decent and holds securely. The soft-close lid closure works smoothly and adds a touch of convenience. The build quality feels solid, and for the price, they’re great value for money. Fits our elongated seat toilet perfect, I wasn't anticipating the seat...rim/edge width....to be so different than our prior seat. TMI maybe but when sitting, there used to be a little open space but now it is a solid seal lol. It will just take some getting used to. Also, much heavier than the old seat. I don't know what the old seat was made of so maybe that is the difference. Definitely not disappointed with the purchase, great price and so far seems like a good product. ... show more
