These Palms were a lot bigger than I expected them to be and a lot better than what I received from another vendor. They sent me a stick attached to a stake with no dirt remaining in their tiny pot. Needless to say it died so I requested a refund and return the product. 2 weeks later that same box arrived back at my door. Crazy. The packaging for this first order wasn’t the greatest but with a little water, mine survived and they look beautiful. In fact, I received the 1st order on 7/12 and it took me 7 weeks to plant in their permanent containers. Just a little water every day and they’re doing wonderful and thriving as is. I can’t recommend this company and their products enough. Update.. They are still thriving and growing large. I’ve planted them in the ground now. I placed another order. They came in 10/23 and they are just as beautiful and healthy as can be. It looks nothing like the picture. The soil was bone dry. The leaves are dried out and dead. It wasn’t potted properly as you can see that so much of it is exposed without soil and it’s very rootbound with roots reaching out from the bottom of the nursery pot. You can tell it wasn’t properly cared for and then they took forever to ship it. I contacted Amazon and they’re sending a replacement. If the replacement comes in better condition I will revise my review but they are also taking forever to ship the replacement so I am not too hopeful that it will fare any better. I will try to see if there’s anything I can do for them because I love plants and hate to see them die but sadly they seem to be way too far gone to save. I’m so disappointed. ... show more

I was quite worried with what I would receive but I'm very happy with the size and quality I got for the price. I looked hard locally to get one of these and the closest ones available was half-hour away at more than triple the price. It was well packed and arrived quickly. It looks healthy and well branched with new shoots emerging. Thank you for for making this available and at an affordable price! Updating review after 5 months: I would subtract half of a star if there was that option. This is because there were a lot of little worms in the soil. They drain out each time I water, though there are less and less now. I don’t think it’s affecting the health of the plant as far as I can tell. Updating review after 1.5 years: I bought another one but this time, I get a lot less for my money. For a similar cost, I now get a much smaller plant (2nd photo), at least a third of the first plant I bought (1st photo). I am reducing one star. ... show more

When the plant arrived and I pulled it out of its box, it looked really good. Green, healthy, everything you'd want. I gave it some water immediately and set it up in a good window for it. I downloaded the app that was advertised in the box too, Greg, which told me and reminded me to water it at regular intervals. However, within a couple of weeks, I noticed the plant was not doing well. Its leaves were browning and becoming crisp or brittle and I realized that basically none of the water I was giving it was being retained by the soil. I went out and got a bag of cactus, palm, and citrus soil, replanted it, and eventually trimmed off the leaves that were not recovering and it's doing better now. We'll see how long it takes for it to move past the "recovery" stage and back to its "growth" stage. tl;dr: Replant your lady palm in new soil as soon as it arrives unless you want it to start dying. ... show more
