This is the perfect solution for my mother who has Alzheimer’s and needs help orienting to time and day. It’s bright but not too bright. It seems to auto adjust at night so that she can still see it, but it’s not glowing and keeping her up in her room. Very easy to set the time. It even has a function for pill reminders, though we don’t need that. Size is good - doesn’t take up too much space and she can easily read from across her room.

Great product and easy to set up using Spanish setting. Please be aware that the product is kind of small compared to the way it appears on the Amazon page. It is OK since the product works as adverticed and the intended person to be using it liked it as is. I will activate the alarm settings next week based on the target patient needs.

My husband has vascular dementia and he gets very confused about what day and time it is. A family member who is a social worker, recommended a clock like this and I was fortunate to find this one. It is perfect! It is clear, and easy to read. It gives all the information he needs to get through the day. He now will look at it and feel good about waking up knowing what day and month it is. I liked being able to pick out the frame so it blends in with his room decor. I don’t want his room to look like a hospital room, and this really looks nice. I will get another one for our family room where he spends a lot of time. It looks nice, has everything he needs to keep him aware of what day and date it is, and helps keep him on task all day. I actually have had days when I have had to look at it to keep me on task too. I highly recommend it .

I purchased this dementia clock because I wanted something with a large, easy-to-read digital display, and this one does a great job in that area. The screen is clear and bright, and I like that you can choose between white or yellow display options depending on your preference. The size of the numbers makes it especially helpful for seniors or anyone who needs better visibility. One feature I was interested in was the message function. While it does include preset reminders, the options are fairly limited. I do wish it allowed users to create and customize their own messages, as that would make it even more useful for personalized reminders. Overall, this is a good clock with a clear display and helpful features, but it would be even better with more flexibility in the message settings.

Wonderful help for my elderly mother with decreasing eyesight. Brightness is just right. She preferred to turn off the optional evening dimming feature. Thus keeping it bright. She can see it well from across the room. She’s only had it a few days and already she is checking it to stay oriented to the day of the week. This is a very helpful and appreciated product. This is a nice clock for the mantel. It's very easy to read and somewhat customizable. I'd give it 5 stars but it does have a tendency to run a bit fast. It will gain about 3 minutes each month. By the time you notice this, it's too late to return. Update 3/13/26: Even though beyond return date, American Lifetime customer service reached out to address my concerns. Issue has been resolved. all is good. Thank you.
