Purchased this radio adapter plate for a Ford ranger that was missing its stereo. The plate fit securely in the vehicle dash bezel and allowed for several configuration options to suit my liking. I've had others kits that leave radio unit with a sloppy fit. This is a nice snug fit and has survived a bouncy farm life without any issues as of this review. From the picture you can see in the lower slot i added a utility switch plate. I easily made a hole in the back to allow wires to pass through. This was done by heating it up, pushing a bolt though the tray area and trimming the excess materials off while hot to create the hole. Would definitely recommend. ... show more

This is a durable, low cost stereo installation kit that looks great once it is installed. The installation is very simple and it looks great in my father-in-laws 1998 Ford F150 that I upgraded the stereo from the factory unit that stopped working.

This dash kit fits like a glove. Instructions were simple and easy to follow. It is very sturdy and I had no struggle installing it. There are a few quirks that needs to be addressed however. The kit is almost too wide for the hole in my 2000 Expedition as the trim piece barely fit over it (had to spread the plastic a bit to get it over). The aftermarket radio trim piece that comes with the kit was already on the din adapter and even with careful removal, 2 of the clips broke. I could have really used it for aesthetic reasons but luckily the new receiver came with one of it's own. ... show more

Was broken when it arrived. Wouldn’t fit the E450 dash with wood grain ( none of the other brands that I bought would either) . It came in original bag packed in another bag not padded.
