It doesn’t splash water on the floor, it’s a Perfect size and looks great ! The only thing is I can’t get the cover in the back of the fountain to go on, so I do have it next to the wall so you can’t see the opening.

    • Doesn't make much gurgling sound

Assembling this was a bit tricky for one person to handle, but I got it together OK and it works fine. Mine is outside on a concrete patio where it can throw off little drops of water without causing any damage, but if you want to use this in an indoor room, you'll need protection underneath it to keep small splatters from hitting the floor. It's much quieter than my previous fountain, so I added small rocks under each of the "falls" to make it gurgle a little more but without causing any more water to splash out. One buyer here remarked that it was difficult to know how low the water in the reservoir was getting without picking the whole thing up, turning it around to the back, and removing the "door" where you hook up the pump assembly. Instead, I just look down into the hole at the bottom waterfall, where the water empties back into the reservoir. Usually I can see where the water level is, and you can just add a few cups of water one at a time into that hole until you're pretty sure it's at the right level. Again, because mine is outside, if I overfill the reservoir just a bit, a little water will spill out the back door but it doesn't hurt anything. I run this fountain 8-10 hours a day, so it needs frequent topping off, especially in hotter weather. ... show more

The video on this showed an audible cascading sound. This fountain doesn't even have a whisper of a sound unless you your ear up to it. I am very very disappointed!

Beautiful fountain that is easy to install (placed ours outdoors) and still can hear the beautiful sound of falling water! Connect it to a timer and you only have to add water to it every week or two due to evaporation. I'd definitely recommend it and buy it again!
