I'm renting it through hospital, and it drains my breasts. My baby often falls asleep on the breast or refuses to breastfeed, so I have to pump to keep the supply up. This pump does a great job emptying my breasts. It is essential in building a supply. My personal pumps at home - Medela PISA, Spectra S2 and Ameda Purely Yours don't even compare - the output is much less. I'll use those at work later, but for now while at home and during the first vital weeks when I need to build the supply, this pump is the best! ... show more

I used this pump while recovering in the hospital. My stay was extended because my little one was in the NICU. I loved the digital display, particularly the timer. If my insurance would cover this model, this would definitely be what I would choose. I had no issues at all, and that is impressive since you can spend about six hours a day pumping. The other reviewer is correct that when you turn it off while plugged in, it doesn't turn completely off. This didn't bother me, and I left it plugged in. ... show more

This is a fabulous pump. It will help you establish a good milk supply. I am a NICU nurse and this is the pump that we use in our unit.
