I purchased this item to cover up my Toro Timecutter 4250. The cover fit perfectly out of the box. It keeps dust, leaves, dirt, and moisture off of the mower when it is not being used. I have been using it for over a year and it has held up well. It is very nice looking with black material and a red logo on the front. I have had no problem with the seams coming undone. The back (the portion that sees the most sun) has faded slightly but it isn't terrible. I keep my mower under the covered porch when not in use so it isn't fully exposed to the elements. In my scenario, the cover has held up very well and keeps out the dust, leaves, and our annoying cats that like to sit in the seat and get paw prints everywhere. This is a good, inexpensive cover for medium use. If your mower is fully exposed to the elements, you may want to consider a more rugged cover, but this is perfect at this price point. Bought this for a 42" Gravley Z. Length wise its snug but it fits. Seems to be a good cover but not sure it will standup to Wisconsin winters. This type of material tends to crack when frozen. Sure hope it works as I would love to have at least two years of use rather than one. For protection in the summer should do quite well. Would be 5 stars if there were more vents. Humid hot air does build up under the cover quite quickly ... show more

<new review> Toro have obviously changed manufacturers of the cover. This is my 3rd one. Each lasts about 4 or so years in Florida sun/rain. The new cover has an elastic sprung bottom, an air vent to help prevent mildew and seems to be better built all around than the 'old style' cover. <old review< The cover is made from high quality canvas like material. This is my second cover from the same manufacturer. The last one lasted for 4 and a half years before fading and then ripping at one panel. It has been outside in the Florida Sun and rain all that time. I have not had any issues with leaks or similar. I am not sure why one of the other reviewers thinks that this is not a quality cover - it is. The "unfinished bottom" edge was still in perfect condition at the end of the last one's life. ... show more

It has really strong elastic binding to hold it in place, The first night after I got it, it rained before I had a chance to put it up in the storage building. The water just rolled right off!
