I absolutely adore the Ambition Soldier Max! It's equipped with a versatile 4-stroke engine and the batteries last a long time. A great feature is being able to input my rate so that my clients know exactly what they're paying for during their tattoo session. I also love that you can use disposable grips with this machine, making everything more hygienic. One major change I've noticed from the original Ambition Soldier is that you can no longer swap out the cam for a different size. However, the Max has a force start feature that allows you to use larger mags, which is a game changer.

The media could not be loaded. I am a professional Tattoo Artist in a shop, I have been using this for the past 4 week as my main machine. Its awesome! Its extremely light weight. It hits really nice and smooth. It works awesome for lining, shading, and color packing. The battery life so far has been great, I have only had to charge twice. There is a stipple mode on the machine as well that is kinda nice.

I was very skeptical at first buying a machine off Amazon. I spent days researching this machine and others made by Ambition, looking to grab another machine to have at my station. I decided on this specific model. The packaging for the machine was wonderful and it was protected very nicely, and comes with a sleek case for storage! The machine itself is very pretty to look at, lightweight, and very quiet. I have sensory problems with noises and having a quiet machine has been a priority for me, this is even quieter than my Inkjecta Flite X1. Navigating the features in the machine is easy to understand, quick, and the screen is bright and can easily be seen. I favorite feature is the time tracking, for those who charge per hour. Cartridges fit nicely in the machine, it’s easy to clean, AND easy to use. The quality of the work it put out was equal if not BETTER than my $1200 machine. I will definitely be recommending this machine to other artists who are looking for a machine like this!

I’ve been using the Soldier Max since it was released and has become my go to work horse machine for the majority of my tattooing. It lines, packs color and shades exceptionally well. Battery life lasts through a 6 hour session without coming close to running out. The Ambition disposable grips make this a winner in my opinion.
