The light is so warm. The color is match all stutt. I was looking for it long time. When the raining day, open it enjoy the atmosphere, make home feeling warm. The light never hurt eyes, sometimes the light is too strong, make my eyes hurt. It is amazing, big value, we like it.

The Ambimall brand floor lamp arrives in a compact box that is marked fragile and keep dry, says floor lamp on the side and has an Ambimall sticker and bar code label on the top. Ambimall products are made in China. There is no brand information on any printed material or the lamp itself with the exception of the sticker on the outer box. A one page fold out user guide is included. The lamp is broken down into segments for the pole and the shade is broken down into 2 rings and a rolled fabric shade that is attached with velcro and clips that fit onto the rings. The process is relatively painless and the instructions are primarily illustrations. The lamp includes both a foot controller and a full size magnetic remote control (batteries are included). It took about 10 minutes to put the unit together. There are some troubleshooting tips on the back page in case of issues. SIZE: This floor lamp is shorter than another one I own by almost a foot. The lamp shade is is 7.87” tall but it is only just under 9 7/8” wide, the listing states it is 10.24” wide which is incorrect. OPERATION: Occasionally the remote won’t work and you have to use the foot pedal and vice versa. The foot controller is periodically very sensitive and barely touching it will cause the light to flicker. VISUALS: Light has several color changes and brightness levels to find one that suits your needs. The lamp shade definitely improves the light by filtering the harshness of the bulb. At its brightest it is not the most brilliant light but will suffice for reading or other lower light tasks. The clips that hold the shade on are not obvious when you are looking at the light from an eye level position however, are not visually appealing when you are seated near the lamp. The lamp shade has some creases that while negligible they are still noticeable (see photos). Using the pole to hold the magnetic remote may be handy for some but I found it visually unappealing when placed there. I consider this a very basic floor lamp that while operational, is nothing particularly special in the visual department. It is very lightweight and may be prone to tipping in a lively household but should do fine in a quieter environment. At the time I ordered it this lamp was priced at $39.99 which I think is high considering its quality and the many similar items available for less. ... show more
