Good: It works. Installed a 15W LED bulb, nice and bright, no problems. Electrical parts seem robust. Foot switch is light but works well. Easy enough to assemble. Shade diffuses the light while blocking very little. Great price for what you get. Bad: The foot switch is there because there literally is no room for a switch on the lamp itself. Very thin and light, sturdy enough to hold the lamp upright, but that's all. Be careful when assembling - the pole is in multiple segments and the threads will probably strip out at the slightest excuse. Don't expect it to survive the first tip-over - if you have small children this lamp is not for you. Bottom line: You get what you pay for. We wanted something usable and cheap, and that's exactly what this lamp delivers. Five stars. ... show more

I placed this floor lamp in my bedroom, and it’s been a great addition to the space. Assembly was very straightforward and didn’t take long at all. The pieces fit together easily, and no special tools were required. The lamp is lightweight but still feels sturdy once assembled. It doesn’t wobble and stands securely in place. The white shade does a nice job diffusing the light, creating a soft, even glow that brightens the room without feeling harsh. Although it includes a convenient foot pedal switch, I actually have mine connected to a Kasa smart outlet plug so I can schedule it to turn on and off automatically. It works perfectly with that setup. Overall, this is a clean, simple floor lamp that works well in a bedroom or small living space. I’m happy with this lamp overall, especially for the price. Height and color are as pictured. I chose this light because of the remote and you can adjust the brightness. It only took about 10 min to put together. The beige shade clips on to the metal ring and it stays together with a velcro strip which feels flimsy. Two things to note: I tried using a different bulb and the remote stopped working, the remote only worked with the bulb that came with the lamp which may be a problem in the future. Also, the magnet on the remote isn’t very strong, so if you attach it to the pole it slowly slides down over time. This lamp comes in a compact box, but after opening it and setting it up, it looks great and is very sturdy and creating an ambient glow in a corner of my dining room that was dark before. It's made of quality material and the assembly is so simple. It has a floor on and off switch in the cord that turns it on by tapping my foot on it. I need about three more now. I love it. It’s very nice, easy installation and it can be placed anywhere. The little control I have it on the floor so I just walk and press it and it turns on, not to hard of a press but not sensitive either. Really recommend!

    • Slightly damaged, missing a part, & no way to contact the company. However, it looks nice overall.

The media could not be loaded. It's cute, but smaller than I expected. It was completely disassembled, but went together fairly easily and seems stable. I gave it three stars for three reasons: 1) It came with the shade portion of the lamp slightly damaged with a few creases and some black scuff marks. That's the bad news. The good news is that I was able to get most of the black off with a Magic Eraser (but not all of them), and the creases aren't that noticeable once he lamp was put together. 2) It was completely missing the retaining ring for the lamp shade (part number: CC - socket ring). It still stays on, but it's just sitting there. 3) I can find no way to contact the company to get a replacement socket ring. I really don't want to go through the hassle of putting it back in a box and sending it back, so I'm just going to deal with it. But it sure would be nice to have that ring. ... show more
