We used this straw roof thatch to create a decorative "Hut" on our pontoon boat. A small 2X4 foot table is in the center of the boat, and the thatched roof is directly above the table. Looks awesome. We have it on the roof line in full sun. We get lots of compliments from boaters. It goes perfectly with all the margaritas! It looks well made. I don’t know how you would cut it if you needed it shorter. The birds try to pick at it with little success! It’s tied great.
