I was debating between the 26" and 30" for my 20lb, 19" tall labradoodle, and went with the 26" based on other reviews. Even though the provided chart says the 26" is for pug-sized dogs, it fit my dog no problem. She can turn around and readjust, sleep curled up or sprawled out in it. Her head does hit the top when standing, but she doesn't spend long stretches in the crate so it's not an issue (Maybe go with the bigger option if your dog is going to be spending many hours everyday in it though?). I use it when we travel to new places so my dog can have a safe-space if she gets overwhelmed, and it works well for that. Sturdy when assembled, but folds down easily and is very light and portable. My main gripe is, for the price, I feel like it should come with a nicer bed/liner. It's really cheap, filled with a foam so it's not washable, and it's poorly sewn - mine came ripped making it enticing for my dog to continue ripping it apart.

I bought the 36 grey version. My dog is about 30lbs but is a mix/rescue and has rather unusual proportions, with long legs and long body for her weight. I had a VERY hard time figuring out which size to get for her, since I could't tell at what points the measurements on the listing were taken (inside? outside?) and in photos from other buyers I had trouble figuring out the size of their dog and how their dog's proportions compared to mine. So I stayed on the safe side and went with the 36'. This one is... very large. Way bigger than I needed, which is okay and we'll still use it, but wasn't really what I was looking for. For anyone wondering, I'm a large adult and I am able to comfortably sit inside the crate. It measures around 35.5" length inside and 37" length outside, 24" wide inside and outside, and 23" high inside and 24" high outside. It has one entrance/exit which is 16" tall x 18.5" wide. The other thing I will note is that it is fairly difficult to set up and take down, more effort than I would have liked. You have to unfold it, then sort of prop the lid up and unzip the top, then wrestle one of the frame bars into the other side of the fabric, then get the bars that hold the crate up to slide into place, which is a bit difficult to do, since there are these little grippers and you have to line them up, push them in CAREFULLY, then slide the rest of the way on each side to finish the set-up. It's a moderately physical task when doing it alone, which I just want to note especially for someone with a disability (like, if you were in a wheelchair, or only had use of one hand, or even just have weak/arthritic hands), this would be pretty hard to set up and break down. It's especially daunting because I've had a similar travel crate before, and I accidentally snapped the plastic frame just setting it up, so handling these things requires a rather unnerving combination of care and strength. I don't think the set-up should put anyone off, though. That's generally just part of the deal with crates, especially travel specific ones. Overall I really like this. Once it's set up it's sturdy, it comes with a removable dog bed in the bottom, has a failsafe at the top of the zipper so you can clip the zippers into it (so your dog can't scratch at the seam to open the door), and has 2 bags to store things in (one large and detachable and the other attached). The absolute best thing about it, though, is the convenience for traveling. It's very lightweight (I can easily carry it with one hand) and once you manage to collapse it, it folds up nicely and has multiple straps and clips to carry it with. I actually like it enough that I decided to go ahead and buy the smaller crate as well (the size 30), which I hope will be a better size for my dog, and I'm planning on using one as her permanent crate and the second as her travel crate. I'll come back and update my review if one of them breaks or anything goes awry, but it seems like they're high quality and should last a while, as long as I manage not to break anything setting them up/taking them down.

I love this crate . My dog loves her “ little houses” and we are in the car and out and about a lot. I was using a regular hard sided crate , she is crate trained, and we can just keep that in the house now and buckle this one in the backseat of the car and off we go. I always want my animals to be safely confined in the car . I wouldn’t drive with a small child without a car seat or let anyone ride in my car without a safety restraint, and that includes my dog. This wouldn’t work for a dog that wanted to break out , but its perfect for us. I also love the red color

I used this crate to travel nearly 12 hours with a kitty who has never had to be in a car before. He’s a somewhat larger breed and is extremely shy and avoidant of new things. He got used to this crate after placing it in my room weeks before the trip. It’s so sturdy that it held his weight with ease when he decided he’d rather sleep on top of the crate instead of inside. It is also worth mentioning that it seems like the bottom of the crate has a layer of waterproof fabric. Overall every part of this crate feels sturdy.

This thing is a great pet car crate. We got this for a 3-hour puppy pickup, and he was cozy and safe in this soft crate. It’s sturdy and we’ve kept it in the car for him while he still fits in it, he curls up and goes to sleep. Definitely keeping this around as it’s been fantastic and because of the size we’ve gotten a lot longer use out of it than we thought we would.

First, this is a nicely made crate. The fabric is thick canvas, it is fairly well designed and comes with so many pockets that I'm not sure will ever use them all. It was an extremely good purchase. I bought it for my medium haired, very large cat as his birthday present since he was trying to co-op the dog's crate. It is equal to the size of a medium metal dog crate. Now to the bad points. It uses bars at the top to lock the sidebars into place. Those bars do not often stay where you place them when you're moving the crate around. Especially if the animal is inside. The bottom is not very sturdy for carrying an animal inside that weighs more than 17 lb. You will need to reinforce the bottom. Depending on the size of your animal, thick corrugated boxes trimmed to size might work. I used a thin piece of wood covered with batting and material. The cushion inside is not a cushion at all, I added a pillow and a blanket. So long as you are not moving the crate with the animal inside, you probably will not have too much trouble. It will work very well for a travel crate, just put your animal in after you've loaded it because trying to get the bars back in place with the animal inside the crate is nearly impossible. I am still glad that I bought it. Almost every crate is going to have some problem in some way depending on how you're using it. My son bought one to keep his dog contained in our safety spot in the house in case of tornadoes. Otherwise it stays folded and that is one of the most positive things about this crate. The easy ability to collapse it when not in use.
