This jacket is very well made and the fabric, color and style are great. It is waterproof in a heavy mist/light rain. It has a hood that cinches or rolls up and snaps into the collar when not using. The sleeves have velcro cuffs. The jacket closes with a zipper and/or snaps. It has two outside pockets and one inside pocket. The included stow bag is a nice feature, but it’s a completely separate bag. I prefer the rain jackets where one of the pockets functions as the stow bag, but that’s my only complaint with it. ... show more

It is very light weight and remained waterproof throughout my use. It has some features you'd expect in a more expensive rain jacket: inside zipping pocket, folding hood, and zipper plus snaps to close. It went through the washer and dryer perfectly. I ordered Black and it was perfect for my needs. I wanted a jacket to go on an extended vacation. I wanted it to be all-purpose - windbreaker, rain jacket, and outer shell for travel from and home to much colder weather. It was perfect, held up, and looked good. I was very surprised by how nice the jacket was, but I ended up returning it because it was too big. I would've exchanged it but I just decided to go with something else that I could try on in person. I don't know if it was quite as "packable" as I was hoping, since it was kind of bulky, but I think it would have worked well for a trip to the UK when we're expecting a lot of rain. It was warm but not too warm, decently thick, had some shape (so I didn't feel like a big blob) and felt like good quality. I am usually a large or extra large in Amazon blouses and tops, but I was swimming in the XL in this jacket. I wasn't sure if a large would work or if I'd need to go all the way down to a medium.
