These are great pullover 1/4 zip fleece sweaters. They are relatively thick and very warm, about twice as thick and stiff as the common Columbia fleece pullover. The fleece is very dense, almost like a jacket. Pros: - Quite thick and warm, almost too warm - Good fitting cut (doesn't bulge in the wrong places) - Good value for the price - Lots of different color choices Cons - Quite thick - a bit stiff and not very stretchy (not great to sleep in, can be hard to put on or take off) - It has a seam running down the middle of the back. It doesn't bother me, but it would be better if it had no seam there. Overall recommended if you're looking for a thick/warm fleece sweater of decent quality, without spending much money. ... show more

I was surprised. For the price, it is softer and thicker than I imagined … and lofty; has a lot of texture. I expect that with a proper wool base layer beneath, this will keep me warm without having to wear a bulky jacket in moderately cold temps, above 40ish. But when a jacket is needed, it will be an excellent mid-layer. Unless the inner lining of your top/outer layer is made of corduroy, it should slide on without dragging the sleeves up or bunching the torso area. I’m a fat guy. This works under all of my jackets, coats and big wool, sweaters. I doubt it is a good outer layer in rain, etc., but possibly with a waterproof treatment, you could get to the truck or house before real problems. Worth the price. ... show more

This has a nice weight to it and fits my husband perfectly and the length on the arms are prefect. I bought my husband a Lands End fleece and found that I liked this a lot better!
