While this not necessarily a luxury purchase, it's well worth its modest price. The coat is well made and well cut and does exactly what I needed - to serve as a top-coat over sport and suit jackets. In fact, it looks quite sharp and I'm glad I purchased it.

The fabric was MUCH lighter weight than was described, but much more important was the fact that this coat was at LEAST two sizes smaller than the label indicated. I have lost hundreds of pounds, and while an XL overcoat usually fits me now, I ordered a 2XL in this so it'd fit loose. Not only wasn't it loose, it fit me a little tighter than a Carhartt Large coat fits me. I have only the highest praise for Amazon who were LIGHTNING fast to get me my refund with no problem, but I won't buy anything from Springrain again. I'll gladly continue to buy from Amazon, though, thank you Jeff. Great customer service.

I felt that is was very nicely made and a great price I was thinking it would be a little longer but my husband is not real tall the weight of the coat was not too thin but had a reasonable weight . We haven’t tried it yet over his suit but hope we didn’t need an x large

Ordered for a slender, 5'11" tall man, size M Pros: •Nice color •The sleeves are a good length •Decent-looking buttons Cons: •Awful packaging- shoved into a plastic bag. Upon removal, extremely wrinkled •Looks and feels cheap, more like felt not wool, with hanging threads, and poor stitching. • VERY Oversized with the sleeve/shoulder in-seams being very high/tight (arms could not be comfortably raised and bent due to the seam cutting into the armpits) •Boxy look (personal preference for some) •Way overpriced •Very thin; more of a 50⁰-60⁰F weather-type, but not a winter coat. With a sweatshirt underneath, the arms could not be raised (sleeve/armpit issue mentioned above); it's as if the sleeves were meant for a smaller-sized coat Overall, poorly made, overpriced, not warm, did not look flattering, uncomfortable, and prime delivery took, what seemed like, forever
