This is from trying it on so this is not a long term review. I bought this to wear over business casual clothes on those days where it is very cold. The initial quality is good. The material is comfortable. I purchased the extra thick. The zipper works fine. The buttons button correctly and seem attached well. Some of the negative reviews were about these two items. On mine, the buttons DO button to the jacket and seem to be of decent quality. The zipper is 'normal' in other words not the opposite left/right of a normal men's jacket. The material seems like it will wrinkle so make sure it is hung correctly. It is possible there is a difference between the regular and the extra thick in terms of how the jacket is made but no way to tell. As far as looks the jacket is fashionable so I intend to keep it. I’ve been looking for a perfect jacket for my upcoming trip in the winter. I wanted a pea-coat style jacket but nothing that was too long. This style really caught my eye so I really wanted to get this. I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying this jacket was cheaply made and wasn’t of a good material so I was skeptical about how it would be. The fit is a little under perfect. I guess I thought it would be similar to a hoodie at the arms but it’s not too long nor too short at the arms extending to just a little over my wrist. What really gets me is the material. It looks REALLY wooly compared to what’s in the product photo. I’m not sure about the Quality of the Stitching since I don’t see any flaws. I just feel like if I button and unbutton it repeatedly then I will definitely lose a button or two. I only need this jacket for a 3 week long trip so I hope it can last out until then. I’ve got compliments when I tried it on so I’m giving it hope. I don’t love it and I don’t hate it. Just looks and feels neutral to me and it shall fulfill its purpose. Therefor only 3 stars. The metal on the buttons is really shiny so that part seems okay. I’m sure it’s still cheap metal though. I would have paid $40 for this jacket not $60 or more. I like the fabric. Very warm without being bulky. I'm a big fat dude and it's very hard to find something that fits nicely through the chest and shoulders. This does the trick. Light and warm with enough room to fit over a suit jacket or dress clothes while still looking fashionable. Very pleased.

This looks incredibly cheap in person! The material doesn't have the color variations shown in photo. It feels cheap and poorly made. I ordered the ultra thick. That was a waste. A hoodie would be warmer. This was meant to be a gift but it's too embarrassing to gift.
