  • You need this.

The media could not be loaded. Every damn day, I pull up to my garage, get out, unlock the front gate, walk down a hall, open the garage door side entrance, press the button to open the garage, walk out garage, get in car, drive forward, get out, push button to close the garage... EVERY DAY.... Until now. (See pics and video) Note: landlord has old garage door that universal remote won't work on. ... show more

  • For people who have a toggle switch but still want to use.
Color: Pearl white
I saw this cool little guy over tiktok and decided to buy one. As a gamer, after a long night of gaming, I usually when straight for my bed which right next to my gaming setup and chill. I’m always so lazy to get up and turn of the light. Been trying to find a smart bulbs but non for my size (E14) and this guy came. At first, I’m super excited about it but then I came to realize it didn’t work (see last pic for compatible), I almost exploded. I sat in the corner and tried to make it work. When I almost gave up, my laziness kicked in and tell me “you have to make it work” so I started brainstorming. And this is what I came up with. What I’m using to hold it is a product from Spigen called “Spigen kick-stand” (go for $10). It’s just an old one I bought but forgot about it and been sitting in my tech box. So if anyone have a toggle switch and still want switchbot, do it like me (see pics) and it will work although not pretty. ... show more

  • Amazing.
Color: Pearl white
This is literally exactly what I was looking for, but better! I wanted something that would automatically press the button to unlock the downstairs door from my phone (so that I wouldn't have to sprint like a madman to the other end of the house to hit it) and this does the trick exactly. Not only can I buzz open the downstairs door from inside, but ALSO from outside, eliminating the need to mess with keys. This device is genius. Pure genius. ... show more

  • Works great for devices that are not "smart" yet.
Color: Pearl white
I have a Power Pet electronic dog door that allows you to turn on and off the inside and outside sensors via push button. This has been a problem for me because I work evening shift and my beagle will be outside howling at, well anything, late at night before I can get home to keep her in the house. With the SwitchBot I can remotely turn off the inside sensor via a schedule I have setup on the SwitchBot app, and then the next time she comes in she can't go back outside. This has been a great comfort to me and my neighbors. The picture shows four of them on the panel. I also have one to control the outside sensor so that I can keep her out. The other two control a single function to keep the door open all of the time. To do that you have to hold the power button and then push the door open button. I was able to put a 10 second switch hold on the power button so that it keeps the button pressed while the SwitchBot on the door open button operates. I have a security camera pointed at the dog door so that I can verify via the LED lights, that I have the sensors on the correct setting since there is no way to tell if they are on or off, not the fault of SwitchBot. The only minor problem I had with one of the buttons is that it requires a bit of a soft touch, and SwitchBot was pushing too hard for it to work. To solve this I took the extra adhesive pad that was included and doubled them up so it stood the SwitchBot off a bit more from the panel. I then got some of those soft rubber buttons with adhesive on one side that you use on the inside of cabinet doors to keep them from banging, and put one of those on the button. That worked nicely. ... show more

  • False advertising
Color: Pearl white
Let me start by saying that this thing does work fine. But....I purchased this to work with Alexa, like it says over and over that it works with Alexa. Well it does not work with Alexa unless you buy the way more expensive hub along with it. That's like saying "this light switch works with Alexa"...and then in the reviews you read it only works with Alexa if you also buy the lightswitch, and the switchbot, and also buy the switchbot hub. But buying this alone, does NOT work with Alexa or Google. I'm not going to pay $100 for this one thing to work with Alexa, I thought the $29 for this to work with Alexa was maybe just worth it, but like I said, it doesn't work by it self. Only via bluetooth on your phone with a special app. ... show more

  • Works good for automating my AC units
Color: Pearl white
Work's quite well for automating my AC units. The adhesive is very strong and stuck well. I'm even able to trigger it from my computer running Linux, although after setting a password on the SwitchBot, it was quite difficult to get that working again (it involved Bluetooth packet capturing on my phone and then searching through the logs in Wireshark). Not an issue most people will run into though. ... show more

  • Works like a charm
Color: Midnight Black
This is a great invention to automate and schedule things with a physical switch and that can’t be controlled by a smart plug. It’s a little finicky and a bit more bulky than ideal, but I personally don’t know how it could be designed much better given the constraints of the battery size that lasts around 2 years they say and what this thing does. Put it on our coffee maker and it works perfectly. The 3M sticky pad worked to be stuck and readjusted multiple times which was nice (didn’t know if it was a one and done type adhesice but seems like you can readjust and get multiple uses, plus it comes with a second. It uses low voltage Bluetooth which I was surprised I could easily connect to and use anywhere throughout our house (30-40 ft away). Also, if you set a schedule for the switch, that’s stored in the switch and the Bluetooth device doesn’t need to be around for the switch to automatically be triggered. Since the Bluetooth connection worked well for me, didn’t need the WiFi hub, but I believe you need this if you want to connect to Alex or IFTTT. The app isnt the most beautiful and intuitive one I’ve seen, but it does the job and seems to be stable, so I’m not going to complain too much. Good product given the niche need and would definitely recommend to others. ... show more
