*UPDATE * It's been almost a year and this couch is still as beautiful and comfortable as ever. It's been napped on, jumped on and put through the ringers with teenage boys too. This is definitely a purchase you will NOT REGRET. My honest real review. Let's start with the basics, we all know buying a couch online without touching it, sitting on it or lounging on it is a huge RISK.. RESEARCH✅ So I did my research, this couch has been in the top 5 sofas for the past 2 years. I Google everything from best support, strongest frames, weight capacity. Just about everything under the sun before I even purchased this couch. I read every single review, yup sure did took me about 3 days to go through every review good, or bad. And then only, did I finally decided to take the leap and purchase this couch. Cause let's face it, it's alot of money, $1200 is not throw away money. COMFORT & DESIGN✅ The color I chose was slate, which is a beautiful gray color perfect for my living room and a superb neutral. The fabric is soft. The cushions are reversible, zippered to wash if needed. The frame is solid hardwood which is a blessing in its self, cause alot of sofas are made with fake woods. The frame is solid, sturdy and then wrapped with padding and soft material as well. This couch you will melt in to. I have fallen asleep on this couch so many times, even when I am not even tired. It's oversized and super comfy. Who would of thought down feathers would make a perfect cushion for a couch. The couch must have a built in stain or water resistant, because day of delivery it was raining just my luck, and when my son took off his coat inside the house rain drops flew everywhere including the sofa, which instead of just becoming water spots or puddles, they were rain drops on the sofa, it was like the sofa had bounce the water off itself. It was awesome. And let's face it with a teenage boy I need all the help I can get from water spills. I love everything about this sofa. I wouldn't change a single thing. We've had it for a month now and I will update if anything ever does happen, but I highly doubt it will. DELIVERY✅ As for delivery, I chose room of choice with a time frame from 12 pm to 3 pm. The drivers were here at 12 on the dot. Before you ask, I have a smaller door it's 30 inches wide, and my sofa fit with no issues. They removed it from the box that it came in before bringing it inside. It was completely wrapped with 2 different kinds of foam and bubble wrap to protect the couch while moving through the door. Delivery was amazing and well worth the little 20 dollars extra for room of choice delivery. MY HONEST OPINION ✅ My honest opinion is the buy it. When a sofa is rated in the top 5 across the country on multiple sites.. You know you are getting quality. 2023 Update : This chair is still perfect! Comfortable and my favorite chair. Still in great condition, easy to clean, love that the cushions are reversible! I rotate the cushions every few months just to fluff things up. Definitely my favorite purchase! READ FOR VERY DETAILED REVIEW : (Chocolate) Pros : • If you’re looking for deep seating.. this is has it. My son and I can easily snuggle up in the chair together, which we do often. I’m slightly overweight, and even with my kiddo sitting next to me, there’s plenty of room for me to fold my legs to the side and stretch out with extra space. • It is pretty firm, yet comfortable. My cousins have this chair and loveseat in a different color, so I was able to test them out beforehand. • Seems to be made of quality material. Easy to wipe clean and soft. The color is nice and the stitches seem good. No snags that I can find. • So far its a sturdy chair. My child likes to jump off furniture, and no creaks or other sounds have been made. • Arm rest is wide and can hold a bowl, my kids water bottle, or even my kid. • Cushions are removable, which will help the lifespan of the chair by flipping them. Cons : • Prices are inconsistent and keep going higher. My cousins spent only a little over 1k on their chair AND loveseat!! When I first looked at this chair, it was almost $600, then shot up to almost $800, and finally back down into the mid $500 range, so I jumped on it. Next day it went right back up to almost $800. It was only cheaper in chocolate, so that’s what I got. If I bought what I truly want (same combo as my cousins and in a different color), it would easily cost me almost 2K!! Which is a good amount more than what they paid only a few months ago. I’ll keep an eye out on price changes for the loveseat though.. Hoping it goes on sale for Prime Day or they go back to their lower prices! • Can be a little stiff after sitting in it for an entire movie, but it’s loosening up a bit with time and placing pillows against the armrest helps. • Bit of a strong off gassing smell for the first few days, but again, probably lasted longer because I kept it covered in plastic during the nights and some of the day. • It does sit pretty low, that’s not a con for me personally but thought it worth mentioning. • Possible inconsistent with manufacturing. My cousin sat in my chair the other day for the first time, and thinks her back is taller and said the chair even feels a little smaller? Nonetheless, we find both chairs to be mostly comparable and comfortable. I can’t speak for the long term quality of this chair, as I’ve only personally had it for a little over a week, and my cousins have only had theirs for a few months. But so far so good, and I’ll update my review if needed. I do keep plastic and a blanket over it when not in use, to protect from devil cats and dogs, so the quality will probably be preserved longer for me.
