I’ve seen some reviews stating that this product does not work, well I am here to tell you that it does. It doesn’t seem to sting the application site. It is very easy to apply, a lot easier than some of the other brands. For the price, I’m willing to do it monthly without going broke.

Purchased this for our local rescue. As our non-profit is small and receives limited donations, this was a perfect product to buy that served the purpose. It works as well has high-priced brands and takes care of pesky ticks and fleas. We will continue to buy on as-needed basis

    • No negative effect on my sensitive cat
Must not smell bad because my cat didn't run when I opened the tube. (With other brands once I open it he will wince and run away.) It does not last the whole month but hopefully with continuous use it will be more affective. For the price and no negative reaction from my sensitive skinned cat it's worth giving this product a few months to work. My poor kitty has had negative reactions to most flea preventatives. The Seresto flea collar gave him bald spots and an open wound, Advantage makes him lethargic for a few days and gives him a dull coat and Frontline also makes him lethargic but doesn't repel the fleas. This worked for 3 weeks until he started itching again. He was never lethargic and had no skin or coat reaction. Seems to be very safe. Gave 4 stars based solely on it lasting 3 weeks instead of 4. My kittens developed worms from digesting fleas on their coats. After getting their shots, I bought this to help kill unwanted fleas. It smells like an essential oil which was nice, but in the weeks following the treatment my kittens still had a ton of fleas. I didn’t see any dead fleas as I normally would after a flea treatment. I’m switching to Frontline to better handle the flea problem. Waste of money. ... show more

The only points I can give this product is: the price. However, it is not so effective in the treatment for fleas. I've tried Advantage II in the past and it worked perfectly. All fleas were gone in a few days. I was amazed how effective Advantage II was. However, the price of Advantage II is extremely high. Therefore, it becomes a decision between "buy cheap" and get limited results or "buy expensive", but get guaranteed results. ... show more

    • I've used a product like this before that worked, and this one didnt.
The product I received didn't work, it likely was overcooked by being stored in the warehouse. No doubt the ingredients are correct, the formula does not have much variability... However if it is stored in a hot warehouse it looses effectiveness, and since this is Florida.... It can almost be expected to be in such conditions. Common fleas will easily vacate from anything even near the substance that works. It's a very basic plant ingredient that is harvested from Cane Sugar, Same as Frontline. However it has a storage condition to it, and excessive temperature will break it down like many chemicals. I think that is the case here, and I ask hay... Can ya help me out? I want to sing praises about the effectiveness of this, and how it is basically cheaper frontline, as we all know it basically is. ... show more
