I moved a 55" TV into our bedroom, but didn't want to put holes in the wall to mount it. This is a very sturdy stand and looks good. I assembled it with my sister-in-law in about 20 minutes. I would definitely buy it again!

People have noted that the glass broke. This could because of a flaw with manufacturing. They painted over the threads on the stem (see pictures) this was causing the nut to bind when tightening. I'm sure people were putting excessive stress on the stand to tighten this down- probably causing stress cracks in the glass base. The fix: I used a wire brush to remove the paint and used 3 in 1 oil to slowly work down the nut back and forth until it was snug. Use a real wrench (see pictures) - not the one supplied. Does a nice job holding up the new 65" curved Samsung. Note: You might need to take a trip to the hardware store for longer bolts and some more washers when the using standoffs. Don't force the standoff bolts past where they stop- you'll trash your TV! ... show more

This is holding up our 75” Samsung tv, which weighs 92.4 lbs. it does have a slight downward tilt as others have mentioned, which works for us since it’s up high. I had to make sure everything was tight and assembled exactly per instructions. It did feel unsteady as we raised it and got it into place, but after in place, I put pressure on the back and it is quite sturdy, considering we maxed out the tv size and nearly maxed out the weight. It works and is just what we needed. The base is more narrow than other stands, which we needed something less than 13” deep because of the fireplace ledge. The feet that came with the tv were too long and hung over the ledge, so we had to either mount it or find a stand that works. This works for us.
