I have 3 Pits that love being outside and rolling around fighting in the yard. They wasn't digging or scratching that I seen but I wanted to be on the safe side it was spring time. My male loves them, my female's only take them from my wife and kids they know it's a kind of medicine when I try. No side effects, they seem to work and my only concern is how many they take per day at a time. It kinda takes away being cost effective but better than vet visit or fleas in my house oh I don't like the smell of them but I don't have to eat them!!

I recommend that you look for another product to fight ticks. This product doesn't appear to contain any ingredient that kills, deters or prevents ticks. We used the product as directed. Just pulled 5 ticks off our dog yesterday. Notice that the ad doesn't list the active ingredients. That is probably because you wouldn't buy the product if you knew the ineffective ingredients beforehand. The claimed active ingredients are 1. Hemp Meal 2. Red rice yeast 3. Garlic powder 4. Vitamins B1, B6, and B12 If you believe any of those will fend off ticks, then go for it. We didn't realize that this product was hippie based snake oil before buying. **Update:** Our dog tested positive for lyme disease a few weeks after I picked those ticks of our dog while using this product. Fortunately, she responded well to treatment, but the total cost of this snake oil plus the vet bill and lyme disease meds far exceeded the cost of just buying a product that actually kills ticks. Safe yourself some time, money, and headaches by purchasing some other product instead of this ineffective one. All this product does is garnish your dog with a hint of garlic for the ticks to dine on.

My dog has been on these chews for almost 2 weeks. He's allergic to fleas so I try to keep him covered at all times, so far I'm not telling a lot of difference in him. I am not finding any fleas however he is still having the flea bites on him, not many but since he's allergic to fleas any bite is too many. I'll continue to give him the chews, they may take a while to get into his system UPDATE..I've ordered and received these chews again, Petey has been on them for a couple months now and they are helping him, although it did take a long time for them to start working on him. He takes 2 a day and I haven't seen or found any fleas on him for the last 2 weeks, so I believe the chews are now working. 2nd UPDATE..My dog has been on here chews, 2x daily since I bought the first pack, he is now on his 3rd or 4th and has had absolutely no fleas since, I will be keeping him on these year round.

Great item for to protect your furr-family member. I like that the chewable pills aren't hard and are natural so I don't worry about toxins and harmful ingredients or chemicals in his system. Also when giving his daily amount I find that they are useful for training since they look and smell like regular treats. They have a pleasant bacon scent but not overpowering or offensive, although I do like to wash my hands afterward to rid of the slight residual smell and oil. You get a good amount in the container for the price. Definitely recommend this product!

This is an awesome product that I would highly recommend especially for people with dogs that don’t particularly care for liquid forms of medication. My situation was just a little bit hectic and tedious, because my dog had ticks at the time that I purchased this product. However, I must say that this product in combination with other samples and conditioners specifically targeted towards fleas, and ticks did the trick. and at first he spit it out he wasn’t used to the texture. However, after a bit of leaking, he ate it. I can tell that he enjoys it every time I give it to him he’s happy. This is a plus for me because I can continue to use this product in order to prevent fleas and ticks from reappearing in the future. Now and it seems like my happy dog has returned home which I very much enjoy.

I gave the dogs 6-8 of these a day until the container ran out. There was no effect or reduction in ticks on them. I give two stars because the pups liked the snacks. They did enjoy eating them.
