Directions: DIRECTIONS FOR USE. It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO APPLY PRODUCT. To prevent harm to you and your dog, read entire label before each use. Follow all directions and precautionary statements carefully. Dog must be dry at time of application and remain dry for 24 hours after application. Use entire contents of tube on each dog. Weigh your dog to be sure you are applying the right dose formulated for the weight of your dog. Separate the treated dog from all other dogs and cats for 24 hours after treatment has been applied to prevent chance of ingestion. RESTRICTIONS. Do not use on cats or animals other than dogs. Do not allow your dog to ingest this product. Do not bathe or allow dog to swim for 24 hours after application. Do not apply more than one tube per treatment for one dog regardless of dog's weight. Do not reapply for 30 days. HOW TO OPEN. Remove product tubes from the package. Separate one tube from the others. Hold the tube with notched end pointing up and away from the face and body. Use scissors to cut off the narrow end at the notches along the line. HOW TO APPLY. Part the dog's hair between the shoulder blades so that the dog's skin is exposed. Squeeze the contents of tube in 3 to 4 spots from the shoulder blades to a point midway down the back until tube is empty. Do not apply down to the dog's tail.

Works just as well as name brand. We have used this on 3 labs and 2 german shepherds for years with no issues, no skin irritation, no adverse reactions. I am cautious of ingredients as one of my shepherds has epilepsy and can’t have certain flea and tick prevention, but this has worked great for her too. It won’t keep ticks from getting into their coat (that’s what spray is for) but it will ensure that they don’t stay on your dog which is super important for preventing diseases like lyme which take about 24 hours of the tick being attached to transfer. It prevents fleas perfectly. Definitely need scissors to open them, I think they are supposed to be tear off but I can’t tear the plastic. ... show more

    • Did not work. Save your money!!

Had absolutely no impact on my pup who really has never had a flea issue previously. Even after this medication was administered, I saw no reduction in fleas and he continued to chew at his tail so much that he has a 4 inch bald spot. I took him to the vet where he was prescribed Nextgard red. Because it was 3 weeks since administering the Amazon brand dose, I had to wait another week before I could administer the new dose. Once I applied the new flea medicine, he calmed down within s couple hours and by the next day, I did not see any fleas. The price is hard to beat, and it worked FLAWLESSLY for prevention. But I forgot to reorder for my dog that is a different weight range than the rest, and we of course had fleas within a week. With an ACTIVE infestation, this is much less effective because it wears off significantly by 2-3 weeks (typical of flea drops in general) But once the infestation is over with I will go back to using this because it is so much more affordable than bravecto chews. Been using this for over a year for my two dogs, one who is a tick magnet, the day they are active he ends up with several of them on him. Using this has been just as effective as other brands that i have used in the past and the dogs have had zero issues. Was nervous because it is cheaper than other brands but works just as well. My handsome boy has been itching and scratching for a month and my dumb mind said, "meh, he doesn't have fleas because I don't see any." Well, those little buggers hide and/or know not to come after me. I put this on his back as directed by the instructions and he stopped itching and scratching literally immediately. Idk where those dang fleas were and are, but he's a happy boy now! Neither of my boys has had a negative reaction to the active ingredients in the product; they're actually kind of prone to negative reactions.
