Good Ukulele for this price. Purchased before starting lessons, not knowing what type to purchase, but this is perfect. If I had known more about the types of Ukuleles, I probably would have purchased a Concert model, rather than Soprano, just because the neck is a little wider, and somewhat easier to form cords. Chords are the same between Soprano and Concert.

This is somebody's business and I don't wish to slam them too hard, but the truth is the truth. The action is set very high, meaning you have to put more pressure on the string to bring it down to the frets, which of course stretches the string and makes it go sharp. I figured for the price (which is very low) it might have issues above the fifth fret, as many cheap stringed instruments do, but this one is actually more out of tune on the lower three frets than the fifth or over. I bought this ukulele for a small part of a recording, and solved the issue by tuning it three pitches low then using a capo. The quality of the sound is pretty good, and since it's very inexpensive I wouldn't expect it to be flawless. If it's for a kid learning to play his/her first instrument, it's probably as much as you'd want to spend. If, however, you're looking for a true, playable musical instrument, you're probably going to want to try one of the higher priced models. (Just read the reviews first!)

My ten-year-old bought this while learning in school. It has everything he needs to play independently. And he can take it to show his new skills since it has a case everything fits in. He tunes it himself with the included tuner. We are very pleased so far.

This ukulele isn't necessarily amazing, but it does do its job well. I'm sure there's countless amounts of better sounding ukuleles out there, but this one gets the job done well (especially for the price)

Been years since I've played an instrument, but this felt comfortable to play. Strings are nylon, so they'll go out of tune a lot more often at first til they get a little stretched. After about a week, they've started holding their tune much better. Lightweight, good sound. Bag is a little flimsy feeling, but I don't plan to carry it out much.
