Got this trash can as a replacement for my cheap plastic one (that would barely fill trash bags) and I've been loving it! This trashcan is sturdy, and a great size. I can now fill my kitchen bags all the way up before having to trudge down to the trash bin from my second story apartment. The bags are easy to get over the can, the can is secure enough that it doesn't move around, and it has handles so you can pick it up and move it. My one complaint - the swing lid seems a little small for the size of trash can. The lid is easy to remove completely without having to adjust the trash bag, so I opt for that on items that can't fit through the swing, but I don't love it. My husband and son likes not having to step on anything to open it. Shopping for trashcan I read previous reviews about motion detection on trashcans stopped working after period of time, I don't have to worry about this as this trashcan has swing lift. I like this garbage can, it has a sleek look and is a nice enough size to accommodate my family. What can be annoying is not trying to get the lid dirty if your dumping food in. It has a swing lid and I knew this but I liked the look. I usually wipe it down every couple of days with a damp rag but at some point you have to clean any garbage can, even the motion detection ones. I do recommend this product. ... show more
