I bought 1 of the 48" to 88" curtain rods a week ago and loved it so much that I went ahead and bought 2 more of the 48" to 88" and 4 of the 28' to 48' for all the windows in my house. Takes less than 10 mins to install if you use a power drill and laser level. I wasn't sure when I bought the first one if they were going to really work but I can say I was surprised enough to replace all curtain rods to this one and will never go back to the old style again. The middle support on the larger rod may not be needed but it does add extra strength if I ever decided to have really heavy curtain. I keep buying these. Replaced all my drapery rods in one home, the storm surge after Hurricane Ian severely damaged that home, so now in another. Buying all new rods for this house, and selected the same ones, because I like the looks, and are easy to take drapes down and put back up for cleaning.

    • A good performer when installed well

This curtain rod does the job quite nicely but it does require that one is able to install them properly. In my instance it meant that one screw went into a wood frame behind the drywall and another had only drywall to hold it in place. That made the installation a bit more difficult, but it did end up working well and holding well. It doesn't quite stop all the light bleed on the side of the curtain, but that is also a function of where you install them. In the end it was a 90% improvement of the ones I was using before these and at a very reasonable cost. ... show more
