100/100 recommend. I was a little hesitant at first because it’s not “truly” adjustable in that you have to add another post when you want to make it taller, so it can’t quickly go back and forth between heights. But now that we’ve used it for several months I actually like it better this way! It’s way more sturdy and supportive because it can adjust at a moments notice. We use it mainly for my son, so it’s fine that it stays at one height. We’ve been using it for about 4 months now - kept it out all of winter and it’s still in perfect condition. We used water and sandbags on top and have not had any issues with stability. Even with all that weight it’s still easy enough to move around. The backboard is nice and big and strong. I *a lady!* built this by myself, it really wasn’t that hard at all. I’m all around really impressed, it’s definitely worth the money. ... show more

Exactly what you would expect from an Amazon V6 basketball hoop, with reasonable durability, good design, and good value for the cost. The height adjustment is easy for beginner players, then to shift it to regulation height. Definitely recommend adding sand or water, as you have to with any of these basketball hoops, to increase its stability. ... show more

    • Plastic backboard is not durable.
Purchased this basketball hoop almost three years ago, but it was used by the grandkids very little. I stored it under the carport for occasional use and it never stayed outdoors overnight. This spring my grandson took a sudden interest in basketball and I moved it out for him to play. He used it extensively for that day at the 10 foot level but then told me the backboard was cracking right in the middle square where he aimed his shots. Sure enough, it was cracked all around the center square. I told him I would replace the backboard for him and it completely broke out before the end of the day. The polycarbonate glass is very thin and flimsy. I noticed that it became wavy during the two years it was not used much under the carport. Not very durable! ... show more

Not actually adjustable (or, at least not without tremendous difficulty). They sent a screw that is clearly different than what is featured in their video. I followed the instructions very carefully and they must have changed the length of the "Q" length screws from the manual. They are too long and now obstruct the "P" screws which need to be put off and on to adjust the hoop size. ... show more

This is a great basketball hoop for budget conscious people. It was packaged really, so the backboard was well protected. It took less than 30 minutes to assemble. After filling the base with water it is very stable. Honestly, my biggest gripe is the wheels for moving it. It very well could be that we have it set up on bare ground, but the wheels aren’t sufficient for moving it. If it was on concrete, they might be, but we don’t have concrete to try it on. Your results may vary in that regard. We have it set to 6.5 ft, but it can also be set to 10.5 ft. So there are height adjustment options, just not a lot of in between. ... show more
