This HDMI splitter works exactly as described and mirrors the same image to two monitors without issues. Setup was simple and the signal is stable. However, I personally needed something that would extend my display across two monitors, not mirror them. Since this model is mirror-only, it didn’t meet my specific need — but that’s on me, not the product. If you’re looking to duplicate your screen to two displays, this works great. If you need extended desktops, you’ll need a different solution (like a USB display adapter or dock). This kind of review is perfect for Amazon: honest, helpful, and policy-safe.

I asked my job for a device like this, but they didn't seem to have it. I used this to display my laptop to a monitor (standing desk set-up) and a TV (sitting set-up). It was easy to hook my laptop up, but it took a little bit of playing around with the resolutions to get everything displayed properly (go into Display settings). I managed to get it when it was on sale, so I'm not sure it's worth regular price, but I felt more comfortable purchasing something that was made by Amazon rather than a 3rd party seller.

Although the description is very clear, I don't think I quite understood it when I read it the first time. It clearly states that the image will be only mirrored so your computer will not recognize there's a second display which means you cannot extend displays. So it's perfect if you need to mirror it for a presentation with multiple screens, but it wasn't what I needed at all and now I'm three more days behind. I also hadn't read that I will need three HDMI cords, but that is also clearly stated. Luckily there's a box of them in a closet somewhere in my house. It also said it would deliver tomorrow and it took 2 days so don't spend the extra money like I did to have it faster. But that's an Amazon thing that is becoming pretty common and not a seller thing as they have no control over how Amazon ships it or advertises the delivery from their warehouse. It's just a gripe I'm having more and more from buying on Amazon and it's maddening.

this device works perfectly. i use this adapter when i'm streaming retro games, but it should work just as good for modern game streams. this setup bypasses the input delay i usually get when going from console to capture card. my setup is something like this (skip 2nd step for modern consoles): console>RCA to HDMI converter>HDMI dual splitter>one HDMI to small TV, one HDMI to capture card>capture card to PC/OBS i watch my gameplay on the small TV, and use my PC headphones for audio. the audio syncs perfectly, and there's no noticeable delay on the small TV.

It mirrors the same image to two displays. If you need a simple way to send one source (laptop/console/streaming box) to two TVs/monitors with the same content, it works. That said, it’s important to understand the limitations. This is mirror only, so it will not create an extended desktop or independent displays (some people assume “dual monitors” means that). Also, since it’s 4K at 30Hz, it’s fine for basic use and video playback, but not great for smoother 60Hz viewing or gaming. I also noticed that when using two different displays, the output can sometimes drop to the lowest common resolution/refresh rate between them, which is typical for splitters but still frustrating. Overall: decent for basic mirroring, but the specs and “dual monitor” wording can mislead. If you need 4K@60Hz or more reliable compatibility with mixed displays, you may want to spend a bit more on a higher-end splitter. Pros: Easy mirroring, simple setup Cons: Mirror only (no extend), 4K limited to 30Hz, may match lowest display settings

Thus product worked well and did as advertised, at a great price. Connectivity is to the point. Can't speak for durability. I returned only because I found a need for a splitter that also had additional USB-a and USB-C ports for my setup.

Bought this so that I could connect both my monitor and my TV to my computer without having to swap between cables. Note that this only supports mirroring the two displays, which works fine for my application as I am generally only using one or the other, but it does output to both. The HDMI audio also works on both displays and shows up as two audio devices in Windows, so you can switch between them.
