I like cookware with the glass lids because it’s a good insulator to keep the heat in and you can see what is going on with your meal. These are made of a good quality aluminum along with enough thickness to transfer the heat around the base of the pan without giving you hotspots or warping. You get a complete set, including a number of pots and pans and a strainer. I have not cooked it yet, but I tried the lids on and the fit is excellent so it tells me already that these are starting out with good quality. I think you can use these on glass top stoves as well, but not convection heating. I didn’t have the smaller pans before that this set comes with and they are really handy when you’re making just a meal for yourself and you want to do some thing like an egg or something small they’re perfect. The handles look good and don’t look like they’re going to be hot when you’re cooking. They say that they are non-sticking without the hazardous compound like Teflon, etc. and I haven’t tried that yet but the finish feels extremely smooth so I’m sure that’s part of the anti-stick and also tells you to use no abrasive or scrubbing that might damage the finish. I think these are Best cleaned with soft cloth and anti-abrasive cleaners and if you do have anything that sticks it’s best just let it soak and then wipe it out. This is perfect for an empty Nestor or new couple starting out to have a good basic full set of cookware and the option of just using some smaller parts fit when you’re by yourself. The finish is attractive enough and for the price is an excellent deal.

This is a decent and inexpensive pots and pans set. Kitchenware can get expensive. I also own an Anolon set which cost a pretty penny. This Amazon set is lightweight in comparison, and the pots are not as thick or heavy-duty feeling. The handles on the Amazon set do feel comfortable in my hands, and the pans come through my dishwasher fine. If you're looking for an inexpensive everyday set, or a backup to your costly set, or perhaps to fill in a few pots that may have gotten damaged, I don't think that you'll go wrong with these. The price point is quite attractive. But if it's heavy duty that you're after, you're going to have to shell out quite a few more bucks. Also, if you want a large size fry pan, you'll have to add another pan to complement this set.
