Setting up a shady spot for the kids used to be a chore, but this shelter makes it super easy. Here’s what we loved in real life: • Super quick setup: I was expecting a wrestling match with poles and stakes, but this popped up in minutes. This is an awesome sun shade for the price. I really love that the flap can be completely closed like a tent if wind picks up. It's fairly easy to assemble alone, even without instructions. It's very sturdy when assembled and seems to have durable zippers and materials which are great for the beach, especially. It comes with anchoring stakes in the bag. The shelter/tent is very lightweight and compact. It can be stored in a pack without taking up much room or weight. Tolerances are tight enough to allow it to be quite rigid but loose enough that some sand or dirt won't prevent it from being assembled quickly. Sun and wind protection and very good.

This camping sun shelter is exactly what we needed for outdoor trips. It provides excellent shade with UPF 50+ protection, which is great for long days at the beach, park, or campsite. The mesh windows allow for plenty of airflow while keeping bugs out, making it very comfortable to sit inside. The size is perfect for a small group, and it sets up easily without hassle. I also like the gray and orange color combination—it looks nice and is easy to spot. The shelter feels sturdy and held up well during use. Overall, it’s a great value for the price and works perfectly for camping, picnics, and outdoor events. Highly recommend!

This is not what I expected at all when I read Camping Sun Shelter. I was imagining something that could be used at the beach or campsite as a shelter for someone sitting in a regular chair side by side with a friend or loved one. It is quick and easy to setup. To be fair with the vendor, the pictures do not show any chairs and certainly don't show them side by side, so it is a matter of my expectations being different than what the vendor shows and states. This is a new paradigm shift of what a tent is. the long front flap can fold out as a walk way or extra floor space in front of the shelter. It can be folded back towards the tent and affixed at the top and the side for an enclosed are if you wish to sleep in it. There are no zippers on this unit, but the windows and front "doorway" is affixed by a peg in a loop. It is functional for what it is and might suffice for someone not used to camping or want a quick light weight tent for a short stay in good weather. If you had one of those very short beach chairs that have you sitting a couple of inches off the ground, this would probably work wonderful. If you have a standard chair where you are sitting at a height typically at knee level, you will most likely be rubbing your head on the roof if you are sitting inside the shelter. You would have no problem if you are sitting on the ground. Any of these would provide decent sun protection. The front walk way would be great at the beach as most of the sand should be taken off the fee as you are walking up to the shelter. If you are using it as. tent, then it will fit at most two people sleeping side by side. It would not sleep comfortably two adults that are 5 foot or taller though as it tapers in on both left and right side as you get to the back of the "tent". If the shelter was another 1-2 foot taller and 1-2 foot wider, it would be a sun shelter as I think of it. Given that it doesn't meet what I was looking for in a shun shelter, it does not mean it is not quality sticking and could work well for someone else knowing the limitations I stated above. IF you are sitting on the ground, then it has a lot of room and is a comfortable fit. If you were in camping in this and had high winds or rain, I don't think it would be a comfortable night since there are no zippers. Please be aware that at the time of this review, there are two pictures included in the product description that are misleading and not showing this product. Both show a pointed front top. This product has two poles coming up from the back to the front and connect for approximately 3 - 3 1/2 foot flat top at the front of the sun shelter. The rest of the pictures are adequate.

This sun shelter is sturdy! I really like the design for rigidity and ability to handle some wind. The closable screen windows and bag anchors are excellent for real world use. When it's a little windy, you can open the windows to let air through and the bag anchors are very handy for the beach. This sun shelter also has some decent space and a nice base size for putting down blankets. My favorite creature comfort is the set of pockets lining the sides of the shelter. These are so helpful when it comes to stowing your keys, phones, sandals, etc.. Plus, this sun shelter has two hanging hooks which can be used for additional storage or lights.
