    • Great sun shade, nice quality, useful features, good value
This is a great quality canopy or sun shade tent. It is big enough for 2 beach chairs if you want to put them in the front part and then you can stash all your gear and extra stuff in the back part. There is the extra fabric that sticks out in front that gives you room to spread out in front of the "tent" but keeps you off of the sand or surface you have set up on. That extra front part can also be lifted up and secured to the top if you need to close the tent for some reason. The fabric has SPF protection and there are windows for ventilation and to keep the bugs out (at least from the back). It sets up easily and stores in a little bag. It also comes with stakes to secure it to the ground so it doesn't blow away. Or I think the pockets on the side could be filled with sand to help hold it down also. All in all this is a really nice tent for the money and can be used for lots of different purposes. ... show more

I got this sun shelter for days out at the park for public performances. It’s compact but not necessarily lightweight at 4.9 lbs. Since I have no plans to hike with it any further than a couple of thousand feet from a car onto the grass, this is not an issue in any way. The video instructions for setup on the product listing are simple to follow. Zero issues, everything looks good so far, and the sun shelter fits three people easily. Finally, I am a sucker for great colors, and the sherbet orange sold me on an item that already has a lot of visual appeal. ... show more

This Amazon Basics Sun Shelter is great! We camp a lot and go to the beach all the time. It is perfect for the kids and animals to keep them out of the sun ir rain while still being a part of what we are doing. Its plenty big enough fir adults as well. We camp in a camper and this is nice because we don't have to pop a while tent for outside. Its got vented windows and you can close it all the way up too. This portable sun shade canopy tent is very well made, easy to put up and take down and comes with a convenient carrying case. I am hoping it is small enough to use as a temporary shade on our bass boat.
