I installed a SONY Carplay head unit in my 2012 GMC Acadia Denali with this kit. It was incredibly easy. I haven't installed a car stereo in 25 years or so. Back then, it was a lot of trial and error figuring out the wiring. This list eliminates 99% of that, and retains all of the features in the Acadia. All of the steering wheel controls work as original. The backup camera automatically comes on when in reverse, and turns off when you shift out of reverse. It powers the factory amp and sub in the Acadia, and very well. The call quality is great. I'm not sure how much of that had to do with this kit vs. the aftermarket radio, though. It is practically impossible to plug something in the wrong spot. The harnesses only fit where they're intended to go. If I ever need to install another aftermarket radio, I will definitely use PAC again.

A lot of wires to deal with but the instructions were detailed and the final result worked perfectly in my 2008 Buick Lucerne CTX when upgrading to an ATOTO A6 7" A6G2A7PF-S02. The improvement to the sound coming out of the 6 stock speakers was amazing; speakers are wired directly to this connector. Pretty much made me want to hook up the car battery to a charger and just sit in the driveway to listen to music in the car. OnStar was also fine until GM end-of-lifed it for this car. Steering wheel controls worked perfectly out of the box with no need to train anything.

The Kenwood stereo and all steering wheel controls work flawlessly in my 2008 Silverado when installed with this module. Wiring instructions could have been a little bit clearer, imho. The Kenwood only utilized one of the two remote control wires, and did not use the jack. Very Impressed with the function out of the box, though, as everything worked great. Time will tell on the longevity, as this has only been installed for a few days.

Made installation easy. Everything is labeled, instructions are clear. I called PAC to make sure it had the latest firmware upgrade and tech support was fast and friendly. I added a SiriusXM tuner and ran it directly through the JVC kw-av71bt head unit instead of using factory tuner, so I can't comment on the XM displaying in the driver info center. Thus the rear seat audio only plays what is being played up front. The chime box turn signals are still a little cheesy and quiet. The chimes are clear and loud. When you solder the wires, add a length of wire to the parking brake lead and ground it for a parking brake bypass. This is a big bundle of wires to stuff under the dash, but that makes it easier to connect. I can revert to stock in about 30 minutes. September 21, 2013. Stopped working. Weird buzzing noise from the blue box. Gonna try for some warranty help! October 28, 2013. Received replacement blue box from 3 Kings Audio. Both PAC and 3 Kings responded quickly (I was slow in contacting/sending part). New blue box is latest firmware upgrade. Will install tomorrow. November 2. Up and running. The replacement was simple. Thanks to 3 Kings for letting me send back just the blue box. Plug and play, back in business. Fingers crossed that this one works for a looooooong time! 4/2/18: Still works great!

This wiring harness worked great and sounds awesome. It retains all my steering wheel buttons and comes with great instructions. I installed a kenwood head unit in my 2008 Tahoe and everything’s flawless. CarToys tried saying they don’t make this harness anymore and had an updated harness that costed 400$. Definitely explore your options

Great product, and Great Technical support. Don't use A.I. To help you make correct purchases.....it lies. Although this us a great product, it didn't work because it is the wrong part for my car and I didn't know it until I called Technical support.

Installed and hooked everything up according to the instructions but I Haven't been able to get my sirus xm radio working with it yet but I do not really use it so haven’t worried about digging into figuring it out yet, aside from that everything else was plug an play and worked as it should as soon as i powered on the head unit. Installed in a 2012 Silverado.
