I love that it has an automatic shut down when it's had enough. Excellent with the credit cards and thick paper as well. I think I got this for a great price and I am overall pretty impressed with Amazon items. Now that I decluttered my office I probably will shred 10 items per week if that, I really bought this to tackle my buildup. The quality is really good. I did read some of the reviews saying that it got overheated on big jobs, I haven't noticed that. I just finished a big job, probably about a Year's worth of shred, and it did excellent! I do leave it off when it's not in use I don't know if maybe that's the reason why. But this is a great shredder and for the price you really can't beat it.
