Cord length isn't the best it's very short, but if you need a budget power strip this is the product for you. I have been using this for about a year now and it still works as needed. About the joules; A power strip with a joule rating of 200 is designed to handle smaller power surges and provide basic protection for your connected devices. It can help absorb or divert a limited amount of excess energy during a surge to prevent damage to your electronics. Power surges can occur due to various reasons, such as lightning strikes, power grid fluctuations, or electrical equipment switching on and off. A surge of electricity can potentially exceed the normal voltage supplied to your devices, which may cause damage to sensitive electronic components. A power strip with a 200 joule rating can handle relatively small power surges, but its capacity to protect against larger or more intense surges is limited compared to higher-rated surge protectors. It is suitable for protecting devices with lower power demands, such as small household appliances, lamps, or charging cables for mobile devices. Power strips with lower joule ratings may not be able to handle more substantial or prolonged power surges effectively. In areas with a higher risk of power fluctuations or lightning strikes, or when protecting more valuable and sensitive equipment, it is generally recommended to consider power strips with higher joule ratings for enhanced surge protection. But again, this power strip does its job, just be careful if you are plugging in expensive equipment like a game console or TV because it may not fully protect the device in-case of a surge. Got some new tech stuff for the holidays. Ran out of places to plug them in. Woke up this morning and saw this 2 pack power strip was on sale for a low price. It said it would get here in a few hours so I ordered it. Before noon it was already delivered to my door in just a few hours. Now that's fast. Plugged them into the wall. Turned out in on and plugged in my tech stuff. Everything is working fine. Would recommend as it's fast, basic, and gets the job done.

I didn't read the description carefully enough when I purchased these, so the cord is much shorter than I needed. But that's on me - they're good quality, and I'm not mad at having them in my tool drawer. Plus they were inexpensive enough that it won't hurt to give them away if someone needs them.

They work fine and are cheaper than what you could find it. Two big box stores. This is good because it’s still a surge protector. There’s not much difference between this one and the ones it cost almost twice as much at the big so-called discount stores around me.

These are just your basic normal power strips. I used one of mine to power my security system (cameras and dvr) and one in my kitchen to extend my waffle iron plug. Both work great. I do like that they put clear labels on it so people know the Reset side of the switch is "On".

Had this for a few years. Still works great. Durable, sturdy, good amount of outlets. still white, no discoloration. No USB ports but that’s okay. Good quality. I would buy again.
