I do own a versiflex and already have an expectation of quality and it did not let down. I’ve been running it for a few weeks and I’m honestly proud of what I’ve made. Mugs come out with deep blacks and smooth gradients, coasters are sharp edge to edge, and my poly tees keep their color after the first wash. Setup was fairly simple - drivers, print Manager, paper in, Wi-Fi paired first try. I barely tweak settings; reds, skin tones, and fine text land right without a lot of tinkering. No banding, no weird shifts, and the first print of the day is clean as it has an auto maintenance. For consistent, sellable results, it’s been worth it so far and I highly recommend it.

Be sure to look at the cost of the ink before you buy this printer. Sawgrass advertises that their ink keeps the lines clean with their automatic cleaning cycles, but really some of the conversions aren't that hard to upkeep. The ink is about three times the price of those. That being said, Sawgrass does have excellent color when the software works. I used to think they were best printer in the business because of their print manager, but their new print utility is worthless. You get dithering and bad colors on files which used to print absolutely fine. Also, if I ever power off the printer, or the power goes off (you're not supposed to power it off), I have to remove everything and add it back again, and that's an ordeal (especially if it's a networked printer). When it works, you don't have to think about it and it's great. Until they fix the software, which is required to print, I don't mean their design software, I wouldn't buy a Sawgrass.

I've been on the fence with Sawgrass, simply because cost can be an issue, but this past week I decided to put the new Sawgrass to the test against another of my printers which I converted for dye sublimation. I also own the Versiflex. I was on the fence with it initially as well, but I've been using it ALOT and I now have it down to an art. I've made shirts for friends and they were literally blown away at the quality of the print, so. . . yes, it is expensive and yes, you get what you pay for. So. . . I recently received the sublijet ink with my new Sawgrass since you cannot mix inks in a Sawgrass, not even to switch the type of ink for risk of damaging the machine. I'm seriously impressed. I made lanyards, T-shirts, bags and the quality is outstanding. I don't know if I'm going to retire my Epson, but the software to print using the Sawgrass print manager is pretty slick. Lots of options to fine tune your print quality. If you have the cash, buy it. If you don't save up. It's worth it. . . and this is coming from a skeptic.

So far Thai printer has been great. It was easy to set up. Had to install drivers on my computer etc but no issues with that. After loading and. Not even using ink levels showed 52% what??? Well sawgrass said that is normal since it loads and primes the printer with ink I guess. Shocking but ok. First print turned out great made some neoprene coaster. It is easy to use prints much faster than the other printer I was using. Also their software you use for printing is good as well still getting use to it but so far it seems user friendly. I do also have the sawgrass with Veriflex ink but I think I like this one better so far

The printer worked really well until I had to put it away and when I tried using it again it wouldn’t work I’ve tried everything and there is no customer support number where you can get help and they have no place to send the machine to have it looked and o and repaired. I’ve tried but no luck and no one knows where to send them or who can service them. Bad customer service!!!
