Who knew I could get something that works so well and feels very safe? Why did I spend so much money on complicated, expensive heaters that only work when they wants to? This is simple, perfect and costs almost nothing. I use it to heat a medium size bathroom (8’x10’ maybe). I initially set it on the counter, but felt it didn’t heat as fast and well as I wanted. I set it on the floor (heat rises) and it heats the room quickly and well without overheating.

Warmest and coziest $15 I've ever spent! This thing is incredible, it works perfectly, It's like a hair dryer but 10 times quieter as far as sound goes, It's super portable from room to room (Even though it's great it is still just a tiny heater, and sadly you do in fact have to carry it around with you if you want to stay warm in multiple places). It doesn't have a timer, but I don't think it really needs one. This puppy is consistently pumping the perfect amount of heat regardless of the room size and previous temperature. It's really weird but it's basically perfect at bringing any medium to small size room to room temperature as long as you let the heat stay in just that room by sealing cracks and closing doors of course. Well done Amazon, you knocked my socks clean off with the price to performance you get from this beauty of a mini heater!

I picked up this little Amazon Basics 500-watt ceramic heater because my office cubicle gets absolutely freezing in the winter. It definitely deserves a solid four-star rating because it blows fast personal heat right under my desk without tripping the office breakers. The small plastic body has a tiny footprint so it easily fits on a crowded workspace shelf or right by your feet. My only real gripe is that the ultra-simple setup completely skips basic features like temperature dials, a remote, or different fan speeds. For daily use on cold mornings the built-in ceramic coils start pumping out hot air just a few seconds after flipping the power switch. It runs at about 51 decibels which honestly just sounds like a quiet desk fan or a gentle white noise machine. The safety tip-over switch on the bottom works perfectly and instantly cuts the power if you pick it up or kick it over. Plus the low 500-watt pull uses a third of the power of a standard 1500-watt heater while keeping my space warm. The biggest downside I noticed was a strong chemical fireproofing smell that fills the area during the first few days of running it. You also have to make sure it sits on a completely flat hard floor or the safety peg underneath pops out and kills the power. Those minor flaws are pretty normal trade-offs for a cheap fifteen-dollar heater that does not have an actual built-in thermostat. If you just need cheap individual heat for a small workspace and do not mind turning it off yourself this thing is great.

Perfect for a small to mid size room. They don't seem to use to much power comparing this to other portable heaters i've had. Looks nice. Looks simple. Goes with room decor and feels safe. Simple operation for anyone. Just turn it on and the room will warm up. This isn't a high powered heater. But it is a safer alternative for bedrooms and teens.

It’s a okay item. Due to the size you Must be very close to the heater to feel the heat. After using it for a couple of months the heat intensity has reduced. The price is perfect, it does warm me up at work. I wished the strength was higher. Packaged well and looks like the picture.

I’ve had many portable heaters and this is one of the smallest, strongest and least expensive ones I’ve ever had. It heats up a decent sized bedroom and makes it significantly warmer. It has one setting and an automatic shutoff if it falls over. I’ve used it daily for months and it’s wonderful.
