This things is awesome! Small enough I can put in on my backpack, since I can’t leave it at work. But heats up the space just right. If I were to be picky, I’d like to be able to adjust the temp and/or output (it’s a simple on/off heater), but really, for a small space it’s perfect. The exterior doesn’t get hot so I can move it around with my hands, and I appreciate the safety feature that automatically turns it off if it gets tipped over. Great little desk heater!

Like most corporate offices, there is likely a fixed temperature during the winter months and in most cases, it will be cold. I suffer from cold feet and needed to find a heater that would keep me warm in concentrated areas of my body, without breaking the bank. Since Amazon Basics and its products have proven to be great, I decided to give this small space heater a try. Now, don’t let it small size fill you - it packs a punch and it has saved me from the shivers without the heat bothering those working around me. This device is exceptionally made and its compact size allows me to place this conveniently at my work and home desk. It is turned on with a simple, easy to reach red switch and there is a small button on the bottom that turns the heater off if it topples over. A small engineering decisions offers me peace of mind. If I had one critique, it would be to extend the cable since it is a bit short. I am huge on cable management and this being just under 6ft, which I assumed would be sufficient, still proves to be short. However, this is not a big issue. I highly recommend this product if you’re trying to save space and not hear up an entire room. This will only keep you mildly cozy and it will have to be placed close enough for the heat to do its job.

Amazing little heater! I’ve had it for four months, and it’s perfect for my needs. I work in healthcare, where temps are maintained frigid cold at all times. I have my heater on my desk and it works great. It’s quiet, and while it has no temp control, it’s just right, as long as you keep it away from your face. The airflow sort blows a bit upward but I’m not bothered by it. Again, just keep it at a distance so that the air will not hit your face as it does get pretty hot. Love it. Five stars!

This is a powerful little heater especially for 500 Watts. What I don't like about it is: 1.The switch is in the back of the unit. 2. It has only 1 speed and gets quite hot. 3. The feet do not have enough grippers; really minimal. If the button to turn off waas not in the back, it would be easier to turn it off when it gets too hot. Also, please be safe and use it on a sturdy non flammable plate. It MUST be watched all the time as with any heater, do not leave the room with it on. I am trying another Amazon Basics: Amazon Basics Ceramic Space Heater, Electric Heater for Indoor Use With 3 Heat Settings, Temperature Control, Lightweight (1.7 LBS), 520W, 5.1"L x 3.5"W x 7"H This unit is only a little bit taller. it has 4 small feet that really need to be bigger. But it has 3 speeds: low, med, high, and a fan only option. I prefer this one as it has more versatility and instead of moving the heater away, you can lower it. This one is also low wattage 520 Watts, which is what I need for my old RV. This is the one I would choose if I were you as it is virtually the same price - just a coupe of dollars more. Be safe. Never leave the room with it on!

Mighty but small. I was skeptical when I saw how tiny this heater is. I'm using it as I type this review. It packs a punch of heat! It's always freezing in the office and this heater has my legs and feet so nice and toasty! Definitely won't be disappointed!
