This isn't my first waterproof mattress protector so I know how to wash, dry and take care of them. I have had two of these. My first one developed multiple rips and tears in less than a year. I had it replaced and the replacement also developed multiple rips and tears before long. I do not recommend the Amazon basics mattress protector. The size and comfort and fit are fine but they will not last durability wise and there are other options in the same price range that will last for years. I would give it zero stars if I could. ... show more
