Description

The Aluminum Garden Rake features 14 hardened steel tines that rip through tough soil and hardened dirt clods when you’re loosening soil for planting, leveling soil or doing a little light weeding. I've owned wood handled, fiberglass and steel handled garden rakes before. None stack up to this one. And, ultimately, they all went away. I've had this one several years and it is a pleasure to use. Incredible rake! To be honest, I never thought this rake would hold up to the torture of a farm. When it arrived, I thought it was a joke ... it was so light and skinny. But, I've tortured it and it has held up to normal duty as well as building a 1/4 mile road of asphalt millings. I had to rake the big chunks out. My buddy ran over it with his F350 ... I bent it back in shape and it took another week before it finally broke. I will say something fishy is going on ... the only company on Amazon with it in stock is Evergreen Co. I bought one for the house a week ago for $27... I went to replace my broken one this week and the price is $42 .... it's backorderd everywhere else. ALERT: I found it in stock at Target today for $17 ... bought 2 more for the farm 🤓 ... show more

This rake works great. I was surprised by how light it feels. I can actually use it with one hand! Despite its light weight, the construction feels solid, and so far I cannot find any issues with this Fiskars. It is well worth the extra price. I don't expect it to fall apart at the welding spots, like the cheap hardware megastore rake I used only a few times. When it comes to tools that you plan to use a lot, it is well worth to go for quality and good ratings over the price. ... show more

    • Product is pretty good but very poorly shipped.
The rake was shipped in a box 8 inches too short with no packing material. The rubber on the handle was gouged and the aluminum handle was scratched. Very laime.

In my 30 years of life, I have never held a rake like this. I have the Fiskars metal shovel and that thing is a heavy beast. I expected the same of this rake. Instead I feel like i am holding an engineering masterpiece that is extremely light yet tougher than I am. I contemplate using this rake for jobs that i would have never thought a rake could be used for. Pull roots, pry on rocks, and remove sod. It's up for the challenge. Fiskars warrenty is unmatched. I broke the Fiskars metal shovel, no small feat. Took a picture and followed the online process and two weeks later I had a brand new shovel. 2/3/18 Package arrived this morning with two shipping bags taped around each end with the middle exposed. A good dent in the area that I would grab the rake at times while working in the garden. Rack part was chipped. I guess that’s the risk off buying online. I have received other items like shovel’s in a box or wrapped better. I will learn how the product works this spring.     • Very streamlined, sturdy and lightweight.
Use it on our farm for landscaping, general use and as extended reach for getting ahold of items out of normal range. It doesn't have the center bending issues I've had with typical wood handle rock rakes or the outer welding weakness as well. I appreciate the lightweight feature when I use it for hooking things under decks, lower tree limbs etc. The metal hand also seems to be easier on the hands as we haven't had issues with blisters since we've been using it. ... show more
