Size: 18-Inch 5-Blade Mower with Grass Catcher
This is a good mower considering the category of non-powered push mowers. It will not mow as good as an electric or gas mower. It was easy to put together. Unless you have a very small lawn, get an 18 inch model like this one. It'll save you numerous passes. It cuts surprisingly well as long as you don't let your grass get over 3 inches tall. It's also fairly easy to push. It's best to mow without moisture on the blades of the grass. Keeping this mower maintained is very important. It'll start squeaking like a banshee after a few short uses so keep a can of WD40 handy. After every use before putting it away, wipe it clean, spray WD40 on the inside and outside ends of the axles and especially the length of the cutting bar. Pushing the mower a short distance on cement will distribute the WD40 on the cutting blades making for smooth and quiet operation. I don't use the grass catcher so can't tell you how good it works. The bolts will loosen once in awhile, but the knobs make it easy to re-tighten. I have a gas mower but bought this for frequent light maintenance and the fact that it's environmentally friendly.

Si pudiera poner 0 estrellas, lo haría. Un muy mal producto, tosco difícil de manejar, se atora y suena como carretilla llena de latas, para nada funcional, y eso que mi yarda es bastabte pequeña. Nada recomendado. Además, quise regresarlo y las condiciones indican que no garantizan la devolución completa de mi dinero, sino un porcentaje. Product works okay for thinner grass, if you have thicker grass you’re going to have to do 500 passes before it cuts. The grass gets stuck at the attachment points and is a pain to untangle. Don’t buy used, they dont give you instructions on how to put it together. I basically got a box full of parts and had to figure out how to put it together myself by looking at the pictures on Amazon of the product. The “set up” video on the item doesn’t help either. At the very least, if Amazon is planning to resell used products, that have already been opened and used by other consumers they should have to be required to include instructions on how to put it together. You have new ones available for sale so why can’t you just take a photocopy of those instructions and include it in the box of the used one? Very obnoxious, very annoying. What’s the point of having a “set up” video that doesn’t actually show you how to set anything up.

Unless you have a rider, you gotta push your mower all the way around, so might as well, I wanted to try this manual one - mind you, I moved to America last year and I just bought a house a month ago. And meanwhile the month, I have not cared the grass at all since the sellers literally mowed the lawn right before we moved in (really nice of them) So, they were around one foot long or longer, and this amazon basic barely cut. Probably if you move force and back several times then it mows. But anyway, I understand because they are too long, the mower doesn't cut at all. So what I did was, the engine mower that the seller left (again, they are awesome), I used them to cut my front and back yard. I requested the return so I washed and wiped the entire parts yesterday. But I wanted to give it a try one more time, with short grass since I cut the front yard 10 days ago. And today, I assembled back again and tried for a good minute. And nope. It does not cut much at all. Maybe it's still long for the mower but if this is the case, I'd rather get a 80 bucks mower and with the amount I paid for this, I'm getting an electric mower. The reason I think is, the blades are not welded well. I can see the deformed blade at the end when I was packaging back after wiping the blades, it should be helically straight - like screws, but whoever welded the blades on the rim, some ends are straight but other ends are seriously deformed. By the way, some people complain about the blades getting dull so quick - ADJUST THE BLADES, FRONT SCREWS PUSH THE BLADE DOWN, READ SCREWS MAKE THE BLADE HEAD UP AND IF IT TILTS TOO MUCH THEN IT'S GONNA SEEM LIKE IT CUTS WELL BUT YOU ARE LITERALLY GRINDING THE BLADES EACH OTHER AND THEY GET DULL.
